Kind of hilarious to me how poorly the title "Mob Psycho 100" localized to English-speaking areas. To someone whose first language is English, it scans as:

Mob (Yakuza, Mafia)

Psycho (violent person with "crazy" behaviors)

Thus: a particularly violent member of organized crime.

But in Japanese it scans as:

Mob (background characters in crowd scenes in manga or anime)

Psycho (short for psychic)

Thus: a psychic who looks/acts like someone you'd never pick out of a crowd scene in a comic.

Anyway I'm not gonna touch that internalized lycanphobia with a ten foot pole. Being turned by your partner is something that can be incredibly intimate as long as both parties are consenting and the one being turned is 100% sure they want it. Literally the only downside to transforming once a month is the pain, but midol works just fine. No one with these "lycanthropy bad" takes ever wants to discuss the legitimate positives that come with this "curse" lmao.

lmao my wife literally saved my life when she turned me but i guess she should be muzzled huh? we run through the woods hunting deer together and can each haul in groceries in one trip now, but nooo she's obviously a danger to society because she cares enough about me to help me when insurance wouldn't cover my medicine

The game conjured their DNA from thin air. A Sburb Player might be no more human than an Underling, Carapacian or Denizen - just another living chess piece, designed to fit its designated role. 

Dad, presumably, is the son of Nanna and a non-Player, but that doesn’t mean Players are humans - just that Sburb made them biologically compatible. Hell, Dad could have been adopted for all we know - he doesn’t look much like the other Egberts. I don’t think it’s been confirmed either way. 

No, Players are Sburb’s children, no matter how well they fit in on Earth. They’re of the game.
