I hate the way I look, but that’s not the point of this post. Everyone has to start somewhere, I fell off the gym wagon awhile ago, but today I made the commitment to get back into the groove and push myself to be better. Every day. Little by little. I constantly need to remind myself that things don’t change overnight, to keep pushing forward towards my goal. I’ll get there, one day at a time. • • • On another note: I want to give a huge shoutout to an amazing company that I admittedly had my doubts about, but tonight I was proven wrong. For years I’ve tried leggings and sports bras that promised “material that stays”, “non-see through”, and many others. Each time always fell short. Then I heard of @cnc.apparel and though I was apprehensive, I decided to give them a try. Tonight was the first night in trying out how they do in the gym - and I couldn’t be more surprised and happy with how great my workout was because of them. I had on their Perfect Strappy Bra and Dark Grey Leggings (with POCKETS!!), and I could not have expected anything better. The bra held everything together so well, which if you’re a woman, you understand how difficult a workout can be with a bad sports bra! And the leggings - I swear, they really did stay in place the entire workout. Between cardio, arms, and legs, these high waisted leggings did not roll, shift, or fall down AT. ALL. And guys. They have P O C K E T S. Between everything going off with this pandemic, the uncertainty of when it’ll be over, and the normal everyday missing of my better half, it’s become extremely difficult for me this last week. As if the weight of it all is finally starting to push heavy on me.
