Middle Ground

meet the first foal at Golden Stride Estates. Middle Ground is the offspring of our stud Gray Goose and his dam is a TWHBEA (Registry for Tennessee Walking Horses) mare, making him a cross between a Colorado Ranger and a Tennessee Walking Horse

Kurt Meyers.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the sole proprietor of Golden Stride Estates!

Kurt Meyers lives in rural Tennessee, running his inherited father's estate after his passing. Because Kurt has no other siblings, he was deemed owner of the estate that his father and grandfathers before him put all of their blood, sweat, and tears into. Kurt had other plans for himself, he attended law school at the University of Tennessee in order to become a lawyer. All of this was dropped after the passing of his father and the inheriting of the estate.

Will Kurt be able to keep the legacy of Golden Stride Estates?

Unfortunately, Rune crossed the rainbow road last night 😢.

He was laid to rest by his owner, Dalton.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Gray Goose Aged Up!!

And - look how stunning he is!

Dalton is in the process of breaking him; he plans on focusing on perfecting his agility. Gray Goose will hopefully become a future barrel racing champion, but there is still a long way to go before the two can get there. Gray Goose has the traits of: Brave, Wild Spirit, and Smart. He seems to have inherited those first two from his father, making him an ideal candidate for performing in barrel racing.

The beautiful interaction that Mr. Miller had with his neighbor, Jess, upon realizing her horse, First Frost, got pregnant by Dalton's horse, Rune.

⠀⠀✨ We Have a New (and unexpected) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Member of the Miller Family ✨

The neighboring ranch is not too happy with the Miller household...

During their move into the ranch about a year ago, Rune had escaped his enclosure. While off roaming free, he couldn't seem to resist the neighbor's mare, First Frost, a fancy, registered American Quarter Horse. Maybe it was her blue eyes or dappled coat, but one thing led to another and... now we have Gray Goose!

Gray Goose is an American Quarter Horse crossed with a Colorado Ranger. He is a colt and is sired by Rune and his dam is First Frost. He is residing with the Miller household along with Rune.

He is quite handsome, though! Dalton is working on weaning and halter-breaking him as we speak. More updates on the Miller family are soon to come 😊💛.

Meet Dalton!

Dalton is a long-term resident of Chestnut Ridge. He was born and raised on a small, working ranch located in the southwest corner of the map with his mother and father. Being an only child, he was expected to quickly learn the ways of the ranch life so that he could assist his parents in keeping the property in shape.

Dalton is an expert in Western-style horseback riding. You could say that he basically "grew up on a horse's back". Dalton spends his time training his trusty steed, Rune, and his loyal dog, Chief. When he is not working with his animals, he fishes across the map (his favorite fishing spot is in Brindleton Bay). On the weekends, Dalton can be found at the local bar chatting it up with the different residents of Chestnut Ridge.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Inside the Miller Ranch 🚜🌾

The residents inhabiting the Miller Ranch include Dalton Miller, Chief, and Rune. Chief is Dalton's loyal Blue Heeler whom he had rescued as a puppy after discovering him alone in a remote part of Chestnut Ridge. Chief guards the ranch and spends most of his time trailing not too far behind his owner or out hunting.

The ranch was built by Dalton; when he bought the land, it was only desert sand and cacti. The ranch means everything to the Miller family, it is rare to find Dalton anywhere else these days.

Thought you all would appreciate the results of my little photo shoot from today with Rune 🐴.

I am obsessed with the first picture of Rune practicing his jumping with that gorgeous sunset behind him. The scenery/landscape of Chestnut Ridge is out of this world, you guys. If you haven't already, I 100% suggest that you download this expansion pack; it is so worth it!
