Allure of the Siren, Temptation, Deception and Redemption.
In Bangkok, rivals Dao and Chaisai team up to find missing strippers. Dao risks all by going undercover. As they delve into the city's seedy underbelly, they uncover a sinister truth: victims are trapped in a nightmare of "euphoria," drugs, and trafficking. Amid danger, a romance blooms, and they confront their own pasts.
The drama is based on C.L. Ramos’ novel of the same name.

To all the parents out there who bundle their babies up in the winter time with those little hats with the little ears that make them look like little teddy bears: You are doing the lord’s work. Seeing tiny ewoks toddle across the grocery store parking lot is just what we all need sometimes. My joy is immeasurable and my day is restored.

‼️ Fiction cannot cause physical harm to someone.
‼️ The only person who should have the power to decide if a piece of fiction is harming you emotionally or psychologically is you.
‼️ Any fiction you feel like you are being harmed by you can stop reading/watching/creating it at any time.
‼️ You are always in control when you are consuming or creating fiction.
‼️ Do not surrender the power to decide what fictional ideas might cause you emotional or psychological harm to other people.
‼️ No one will ever know better than you what ideas are harmful to you personally.
‼️ You cannot decide what is psychologically or emotionally harmful to another person.
‼️ Attempting to restrict the kind of fiction that people create or consume because you think it might cause them emotional or psychological harm is authoritarian.
‼️ It is safe to explore any ideas and themes in fiction. Fiction does not and cannot cause physical harm to any person. You are always in control of the fiction you are creating or consuming.

One of my biggest nitpicks in fiction concerns the feeding of babies. Mothers dying during/shortly after childbirth or the baby being separated form the mother shortly after birth is pretty common in fiction. It is/was also common enough in real life, which is why I think a lot of writers/readers don't think too hard about this. however. Historically, the only reason the vast majority of babies survived being separated from their mother was because there was at least one other woman around to breastfeed them. Before modern formula, yes, people did use other substitutes, but they were rarely, if ever, nutritionally sufficient.
Newborns can't eat adult food. They can't really survive on animal milk. If your story takes place in a world before/without formula, a baby separated from its mother is going to either be nursed by someone else, or starve.
It doesn't have to be a huge plot point, but idk at least don't explicitly describe the situation as excluding the possibility of a wetnurse. "The father or the great grandmother or the neighbor man or the older sibling took and raised the baby completely alone in a cave for a year." Nope. That baby is dead I'm sorry. "The baby was kidnapped shortly after birth by a wizard and hidden away in a secret tower" um quick question was the wizard lactating? "The mother refused to see or touch her child after birth so the baby was left to the care of the ailing grandfather" the grandfather who made the necessary arrangements with women in the neighborhood, right? right? OR THAT GREAT OFFENDER "A newborn baby was left on the doorstep and they brought it in and took care of it no issues" What Are You Going to Feed That Baby. Hello?
Like. It's not impossible, but arrangements are going to have to be made. There are some logistics.

My favorite Bl book
Allure of the Siren, Temptation, Deception and Redemption.
I recently read the book Allure of the siren written by C.L.Ramos, a black author who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community.I came to read the book by chance as one of my friends recommended it to me.The Allure of the siren tells the story of two rival detectives, Chaisai and Dao, who initially clash over a high-profile case but eventually find themselves drawn to each other in an unexpected way amidst the chaos of Bangkok.
What makes this story different from other Bl books is the is the skillful character development and how the author has masterfully woven the Plot. Instead of all powerful characters, we are met with two brilliant yet vulnerable men , who seem to be afraid of love. Chaisai and Dao's competitive banter and sharp minds make for a dynamic and engaging partnership, both in solving cases and navigating their blossoming romantic feelings.
Both Chaisai and Dao are plagued by their own demons that haunt them, but they ,like the common public , persevere. There's a sense of realism in the book , and the readers can truly resonate with the characters.
Honestly, this book resonated with me very much. This story is a mixture of all flavours ranging from mystery, fear and sadness to absolute joy and relief.
The author seriously discusses the issues of society and the problems faced by the modern day youth. The passion, the frustration, the rage ,the hatred, the fear, the thwarted desires that Chaisai and Dao feel truly resonate with the reader.
The writer shows that even between the corrupted politics, and the power hungry people who rule the upper echelons of society, the naive , promising passionate youth can truly make a difference.
The author's brilliantly camouflages modern day issues and themes of society, corruption , sexuality between sweet lines in between the pages of the book.
So I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to buy and read it.

Macau: You are my best friend and the father I have always dreamed of. You know I would do anything for you.
Pete: I want you to eat three healthy meals a day, have a decent sleep schedule, and not play console games all night long.
Macau: Everything except that.

I love the phrase "they get along like a house on fire". It's perfect. You and me have perfect chemistry and it's setting off the carbon monoxide detectors. People are calling emergency services to get us to stop being so chummy. Someone died
