"True, true," she said, stepping into the apartment and looking around. "Would it seem kind of silly to mention that it's bigger on the inside?" She smiled a bit.

“Yeah,” Rose said. “So…where are you staying, then? If you’re not with the Doctor?” She tried to change the subject, as she didn’t want the conversation to completely die off.

“I have an apartment that he got me. He was a bit guilty for leaving me I guess, so he made it a bit bigger on the inside. It’s nice, he knew me well I guess.”

She laughed a bit. “I still find it really cool that that’s possible.” Though travelling with the Doctor was better than having a cool apartment that was bigger on the inside. Or anything, really. But they both knew that.

“Oh, it’s just dimensionallly transcendental technology. Pretty much, if you walk through the doors your in another universe, the doors move wherever you want through the Time Vortex due to the controls. So when you walk out the doors you’re where you want. Unless you’re the Doctor….he screws up sometimes,” she explained. Though not really expecting her full understanding. Not because she doubted Rose’s knowledge, but because it had taken her a while to fully understand it. The Doctor had schooled her on the Gallifreyan basics. “It’s complicated and Dimensiony Wensiony, he said.”

“Well yeah…I at least kind of understand it. Sort of.” She smiled a bit. Though she had tried to and succeeded in understanding a lot of things so she didn’t look like a complete idiot with the Doctor, that was just one of the ones she couldn’t wrap her head around.

"Well I dunno, I was hoping you could tell me...so who're you, then? Me at a different point in time? Or an entirely different me?"

“You’re…you’re me.” She looked at her own face. It was like looking in a mirror. Besides a few things, like the clothes. She had seen some quite impossible things but…herself?

Rose remembered the Doctor telling her about some of his adventures with Donna. Of course there were rules. And of course most time travelers would follow them. She could be quite stupid sometimes. "I'm pretty sure it's alright, as long as I don't spoil anything about things that happen to you..." Now that she thought of it, this probably should've gone through her mind before. She could've gone by a different name or something, pretended to be an ordinary human who didn't believe in aliens. Sometimes Rose just wanted to hit herself in the forehead for being so stupid.

"Sorry, I just... yeah, we can drop it. That's fine." Rose looked down at her feet, trying to think. "So, um, how've you been? Sorry I'm not the best at regular old conversations..." She sighed a bit. She never really would be good at these things, would she? Not after all she had been through.

Rose smiled a bit. “There probably are rules, but no one really listens to them.” Especially since she technically lived in a parallel universe. She could use that as an excuse. Though she didn’t know if the people who enforced the rules would see that as a reasonable excuse. “And we can gossip, or something. I dunno. Don’t have many people to talk to back home.” There was just her family and the Doctor, really. Hard to connect to other people…people who didn’t experience any of what she had.

She sighed. Of course she would be upset. Donna was his best friend. But how could she say something without saying everything? She could make up a lie. Of some sort. Or a partial truth. “It, um, it’s..not really someone else…it’s a different version of him,” she blurted out. Well, no going back now. As long as she left out the part about Donna having to forget…no one should know their own future. Not like that.

“I’m sorry, I kinda made this whole conversation depressing haven’t I?” She sighed. “There isn’t really much else going on other than that.”

“No, it’s alright. Nothing wrong with a depressing conversation every once in a while…Don’t really know how to talk about anything else these days…”

“I know…It’s like everything I do ends up being some form of sad in the end these days,” she smiled. “It is well worth it at the end of the day, none-the-less.”

Rose figured herself silly for thinking the she would know, anyway. "Right...must've ended up here while jumping between universes. Sometimes technology messes up like that." She supposed the shock of ending up somewhere completely different than what she was expecting had caused her to forget. "Oh, just people from all over, really. Different planets and stuff. Most of them seem to want to take over other planets."

Rose was walking around for a bit, when she realized she didn't quite know where she was. She did that sometimes. So she tried looking around, but that didn't really help. Then she noticed the familiar face - and hair. "Doctor!"

I know I’m not Tumblr famous and I don’t know how many people are going to actually see this but for those that will see this, I just want them to know that this sort of thing happens all the time at my old school, and I’m getting sick of it. They tried to contact that media and it doesn’t seem to be working. I just want people to know that we need this to stop. If we could do something to help this situation, I don’t know what but something, it would help a lot. Nobody deserves this.
