It’s sad to see the news about the blog, so I wanted to draw a little something as thank you for all your hard work you’ve done ♡(.◜ω◝.)♡.

BLOG IS CLOSING DOWN

Ever since Volume 3, I haven’t been very invested into RWBY. That volume was the turning point for me. They ruined Adam’s potential, and they killed off Roman and Neo (supposedly). These characters were my favorites and had high hopes for. Now that they were gone (or for Adam’s case, lost in value), I had no motivation to keep watching. I tried watching volume 4, but there were too many changes that they’ve done that didn’t sit well with me. Not only the appearance and animation, but also the story. And I’ve heard from analytical YouTubers that the story only gets worse from each volume on. Rushed and ruined character arcs, clashing world building/lore, and confusing narrative. I just couldn’t bring myself to pick the series up anymore after hearing that. Sounds like it would have just wasted my time.

Rosewick was the only thing tying me to RWBY after my loss of interest. The dynamic between Roman and Ruby was interesting. Their clashing point of views of how the world worked, their different life experiences, their side of good and bad, and even down to their character design -- they both were two sides of the same coin. And I really wanted to see where it would go from there. They were the first characters introduced in the very first episode, so how could I not be interested to see how their interactions would go from then on? I didn’t ship them then; it was only after I saw cute romantic stuff of them, that I shipped them romantically. And seeing fan content of them after volume 3 kept my love alive.

However, this love eventually started to fade as well. I have moved on from the series completely.

So seeing as I no longer feel much for this ship, I am closing down this blog. Don’t worry, it won’t be deleted. The blog just won’t be active anymore. Having said that, this blog will also no longer host any more events.

I’m sorry to those who wanted to participate in the Secret Santa that I said that was gonna happen. Seeing that we tried this event for Valentine’s Day and failed due to not having enough participants, I don’t have high hopes that a Secret Santa would be a success either. But if someone wants to host one, feel free to do so; I won’t be stopping you.

“Well, why don’t you just hand this blog over to someone else if you’re gonna leave?”

I have thought of this, but to be honest, I don’t...really...trust...anyone else to take over this blog. As you guys must be well aware by now, Rosewick is seen as like the bottom of the barrel in the RWBY community (for being a “”””pedophilic ship””””), so I’m afraid that what if I accidentally give this blog over to someone who doesn’t really like Rosewick? And turns this blog into something terrible? I only know a handful of people who are active Rosewick content creators, but even then, those people might be too busy to take over (even if they want to take over). So I think it’s safer to just close this blog down. Again, if someone else wants to start up a new blog just like this one, feel free!!! Maybe you’ll do an even better job than I did ;v;

Sorry for the long ramblings ^^:; I just wanted to say everything I needed to. Goodbye everyone! Thank you for helping keep this blog alive for the few years that it was active! Thank you for participating in the events! Keep on creating content (any content; doesn’t need to be Rosewick stuff), and see you around the internet!

Buuuuut if I ever hear good things about RWBY years from now, I maaaaayyyy come back. BUT ONLY IF IT’S SUPER GOOD NEWS. Which I have slim hopes for seeing as Miles and Kerry are terrible writers

Day 5: Trip/Vacation

Ruby’s idea to go stargazing, much to Roman’s disinterest, but he ends up having a good time while Ruby just basks in the moment (*´ ˘ `*).｡oO ( ♡ ).

“Pick Nick!” Rosewick Family Headcanon- Rosewick Week Day 3

okay wow megan’s doing another headcanon. how shocking. and she took the topic way off of its intention? you betcha.

• Raleigh Torchwick always wanted a puppy.

• As in, always.

• She liked to play with Grandpa’s really old dog, Zwei.

• She almost spent more time with Zwei than with Tai.

• Tai was very jealous.

• Needless to say, Raleigh loved dogs.

• She got a baby brother instead.

• Don’t get me wrong, she loved Ron.

• But she would’ve preferred a puppy.

• Ron was a few months old, and Raleigh was about 3.

• The Rosewick Family went shopping.

• They just so happened to come by a pet store.

• As soon as Roman got Raleigh out the car she dashed for the pet store.

• “RALEIGH ROSE!” Ruby yelled, but all that was on Raleigh’s mind was PUPPIES.

• Roman and Ruby quickly grabbed Ron and dashed behind her.

• When they got there, Raleigh was playing with a group of puppies.

• Roman decided to be the parent in that moment and discipline his daughter because she can’t just run off and give her parents a heart attack like that.

• Raleigh put her head down, saddened because she let down her parents.

• But in the meantime, Ron kept reaching for the small puppies, wanting to play with them.

• Ruby was a bit put off, but let him play with the puppies.

• One puppy in particular took a liking to Ron, and licked his nose.

• Ron let out a loud giggle, causing Roman and Raleigh to see what was happening.

• Raleigh immediately went to go play with the puppy too.

• This dog also took a liking to Raleigh.

• Roman and Ruby eventually began to play with the dog too.

• They started throwing a ball for the small dog to catch, and he kept bringing it back to Roman.

• Roman was most resistant toward the dog, but the dog loved him most.

• Roman secretly loved the dog but he wasn’t about to admit that to his family. What was he, a huge softie??

• Yes. Of course he is.

• “His name is Nick,” the adoption lady told the family.

• “That’s adorable!” Raleigh exclaimed.

• Ruby wasn’t so sure the name Nick fit the small dog, but there was no doubt that the small dog had snuck his way into her heart.

• “Roman?”

• “Yes?” Roman replied to his wife, throwing a ball to the dog.

• “I think we should adopt him.”

• The words kind of shocked Roman, I mean, they just had Ron a few months ago.

• Although he was shocked by her words, he couldn’t agree more.

• “What do you think, Kids?” Roman knealt down to his kid’s level.

• “Pick Nick!” Raleigh exclaimed.

• The Rosewick Family went out to by groceries.

• But all the come with was pet supplies and a new dog.
