Not handling the eighth sense ending tomorrow well at all. NOT. AT.ALL.

I think I’ve realised why the eighth sense is affecting me so much. Rewatching clips and reading posts about the characters, I realise that for me Jihyun and Jaewon feel like real people I care about. Usually when I watch a show or film my brain can process that the characters aren’t real people. But with the eighth sense it’s different. I think it has to do with the acting style and the way it’s shot - I really do worry about these two people like they exist in the real world. It’s a surreal feeling for sure - and it makes the show impactful to me in a way no other show is right now.

Just taking a moment to be thankful we are getting two episodes a week of the eighth sense. The wait is painful enough, I wouldn’t be able to deal if we were waiting to consume the whole show across ten weeks!!

i give a lot of shit to romance meet cutes but if there was kindness baked into it i really do get it, whether it's romance or friendship, meeting someone kind feels like finding something utterly precious, monumental, so like how can your heart not float with it....... oh ja won we're really in it now....

Love this analysis
i think jaewon is used to people overlooking him since he seems to have his shit all figured out/he’s privileged. he’s clearly hurting from something (my guess is the death of some type of younger brother, considering the sirens at the very beginning, the therapy sesh, and the fact that he trailed off when mentioning a younger brother to jihyun outside the bar). jihyun seems to be the only person to see him as he is—and jihyun is considerate: he brings him two cigarettes and gives him an extra lighter. both those actions are so small but jaewon seemed grateful in a way that tells you ppl don’t rlly look out for him like that…. i’m emo just thinking about it ;u; he especially seemed grateful later when he pulls out the second cigarette to smoke it when he’s stalling (what looks to be) outside his house. there’s so much to explore here i’m so curious to learn about both characters & i’m genuinely so excited about this show it’s so good so far :((

I am on Youtube, watching middle-aged straight men bawl their eyes out watching episode 3 of The Last Of Us. I am seeing them write huge essays on Reddit about how this episode changed their entire worldview. I am not remotely exaggerating when I say this episode of television deserves to be memorialized as an important part of LGBTQ+ history, because it moved the dial in a way a thousand standard liberal band-aid measures could not. This episode of TV is why fascists destroy art.
They better make it rain Emmy's on this show. I may be a pencil with hair, but I'm a feral pencil with hair. The thought of this show, this episode specifically, not getting an Emmy, is already actively pissing me off.

Palm is such a warm light in Neung’s dark life
"When you pull the trigger, what are you thinking? Are you thinking about the person that you hate? The one that you want to shoot dead."
"No. I don't use hatred to drive me."
