My Little Pony.

My Little Pony, My Little Pony... 

You'll have to excuse us if we forget the rest of the lyrics, but truth be told, our memory isn't what it used to be here in old age. Why, we remember the very first My Little Pony when it hit stores way back yonder in 1981 with the release of My Pretty Pony. We remember it like it was yesterday, in fact—racing to the local toy shop, with its red and white striped drapery that hung over its entrance, and an assortment of figures, globes, and mmlp friendodel cars in the shop window. We, collectively, will never forget those first moments when we, as a collective Tumblr staff, emerged into the store and lay our eyes on My Pretty Pony for the first time. It was a magnificent creation, a ten-inch-tall hard plastic figurine, standing in its box like a benevolent being, that could wiggle its ears, swish its tail, and wink one eye. Wink one eye! Would you believe it.

Of course, things have changed a little since 1981. There have been various generations of #mlp, not to mention television series and films. There is now, in fact, a whole fandom community here on Tumblr dedicated to these petit plastic Equidae.

Not sure if I'm proud of this one really, but the Fantasy Opera Troupe do remind me of Morfonica that I wanted to make another set of Bandori × FoodFan.

I feel like Mousse and Tsukushi would get along pretty well, since they're both the shortest and being the leader of their group. Touko Toko and Chiffon are really talkative, watch them become friends under a sec lol. Mashiro would definitely ask Opera Cake for advices on singing and have him critique her lyrics. Blue Cheese and Rui? I think they would talk about their bandmates, with a mixture of good and bad. As for Nanami and Paella, I think she would be so impressed with Nanami knowing how to dance. She's a fast learner after all.
