As the new year came rolling in, Evelyn was regretting her entire life

Ronan went everywhere Evelyn did when he wasn't napping

"Peek a boo!"

"-baby giggle-"

"Hmm...this soup is pretty good, Evelyn"

"Thankyou, Joseph. We had so many onions so why not use them"

In other news, the Rosewoods got Tina the Llama

If anything happens to Ronan, I will set the world on fire

James & Louise had twins!

James arrived looking stressed

"Is you brother ok?"

"He will be...I think"

Grim showed up and nearly gave me a heart attack

(They came for my hen)

The new hen adopted the egg we're trying to hatch

STEP AWAY FROM THE COW

It was the rooster this time

Stop killing my birds, Grim!

The chick finally hatched!

(Sorry you're an orphan kid)

Meanwhile with James & Louise, the twins are chaotic

James may be a reluctant father but at least he helps out

I don't blame ya, James

Some good news finally from the Wood house

Mary's pregnant

Back with the Rosewoods, the laundry was getting out of control that Joseph was helping poor Evelyn while she was busy with Ronan

Evelyn, did you just pee on your baby?

The last 24 hours should have clued me in

She had twins!

This is Joan & Juliana

(I'm convinced that twins run in the Rosewood family now)

Somehow everyone is still alive

Since these twins were making me crazy, I gave the kids their own room a little earlier than intended

"Well Daisy, I think we're safe from Mama's wrath for now"

Adam escaped on a trip to the market

Things calmed down by dinner time and the family actually ate together for once

Surprise!

Louise was suffering a little

"Ugh"

James & Louise believed in 'free roam chickens' and they often liked to explore the house

Louise grew up on a farm so she loved the animals

Especially the chickens

James returned from his delivery to the local pub

"James! I am with child"

James had...a delayed reaction

Louise waited with anticipation

"That's great, Louise. I'll build a bassinet tomorrow"

Louise figured he was just nervous and things were normal once more

(James was happy to have children so I don't know what was up with his reaction lol)

Meanwhile with Mary, she received news that Evelyn gave birth to her son

She wished that she would be with child soon

Evelyn and her son, Ronan, both survived the birth

(the game named him Ronan and I thought the name fit the period so I left it as is)

While Adam & Evelyn were doing chores, Joseph was on grandpa duty

Evelyn was ovulating and was a menace

Don't tell Ronan his parents are doing the deed downstairs

Joseph was keen to offer any fatherly advice

"Now son, I know it's been a while since there were any children in this house but I am a tome of wisdom. I raised you two boys on my own after all."

The washing was getting out of hand though

Ronan is an infant now and survived another day

Ronan looks most like his mother but I think he has Adam's nose

Evelyn is pregnant once more

Adam wasn't exactly shocked considering what they got up to the last few weeks

He was still excited though

It's time to check in on the other households

This is James, he's Adam's older brother

He lives in the city and makes mead for the local pub

(James has a wife, Louise, who I didn't grab a photo of)

On the other side of town lived Mary and her husband, Darius

They too hoped for babies.

Back with Adam, he took a trip to town to sell their crops

Now that Evelyn could finally leave the house, the baby making continued

That was until Evelyn puked on the floor

Hmmm....

Evelyn found herself very nauseous

She wondered if she was with child

 One test later and she was!

Evelyn cross stitched until Adam returned 

Adam returned from foraging and she told him the good news

He seemed happy enough

Adam woke up needing a vacation already

(I sent him to church instead)

Evelyn's belly finally popped

And with the belly came an array of mood swings

Adam decided to go hunting for a while

 In 1300, Adam and Evelyn got married

With a first interaction like this, babies should be upon us soon

Evelyn's older sister, Mary, popped over for a visit

"Mary!"

"Sister!"

"How is farm life?"

"I'm still getting used to it. It's so different from the city"

Meanwhile, Adam's father, Joseph, went fishing to leave the women to it

Evelyn's cooking skills weren't quite up there yet (and Adam was nearly mauled by a bear so no protein...) so it was gruel until further notice

It's baby making time~

Evelyn spends the majority of her morning doing laundry

"Somehow I didn't think this is what the farm life would be like..."

"....."

"Me too. Mr. Rooster, me too"

(the rooster has a name but I did not write it down. lol)

Daisy the cow is currently Adam's favourite child

Evelyn found herself being done with her chores early in the day so she took up cross-stitch

"Ouch"

The young couple were being cute when Joseph came in to yell at them

God forbid anyone hugs around here

Another day, another baby attempt

"The gruel tastes different today, Evelyn. Trying something new?"

"Well..."

Evelyn's till working on this cooking thing

Evelyn was doing her chores while being judged by the rooster

"Good job, girl!"

The rooster judges silently

It was then that Evelyn's baby dreams were put on hold

The monthly 'illness' had arrived.

Time to get the rags

Since Evelyn wasn't allowed near the garden currently, she spent more time on her cross-stitching

Mary came to visit

"Sister, I heard you're banished from the garden"

"Unfortunately, yes. I was hoping to be with child but the Watcher felt like it wasn't the time I suppose"

During her confinement, Evelyn thought she'd work on her culinary skills

Gruel got tiring after all

So a vampire came in and drained poor Adam

With Adam still laid out, it was up to Joseph to pick up the slack

He didn't seem all that happy about it

Evelyn was finally free of her confinement and shared her happiness with Mr Rooster

Poor Malcolm didn’t do so well

Lawrence broke the sink before leaving for school and had the audacity to give his dad the stink eye

Lawrence later went to the festival and played soccer with Tori

He decided to enter the hot dog eating contest

His competitors were Hal and Malcolm

It really was time to get some food in this house

Oh well

Lily wasn’t about to let ‘good food’ go to to waste and made her family eat it anyway.

“How is it?”

“It’s...good”

It was Lily’s day off and she spent it relaxing

Lawrence wanted to learn how to drive

Meanwhile, Lawrence was doing his homework before his mother tried to ground him for his ‘undesirable’ grades

I gave poor Lily a makeover.

Girl was done dirty

Lily was in the Astronomy career (custom). 

She needed to work on her handiness so I got her the car to work on

Since Lawrence is a genius, he worked on the unsolvable problem a lot

The couple wanted to keep their marriage alive, especially when the mean spirited Lily was in a good mood
