Greetings, all!

I am the creator of this AU, ROTTINGTALE! And I’m so excited to finally share it, and talk about it! I’ll start by telling you a bit about the AU itself. ROTTINGTALE, It runs the same path as Undertale, had the war, got locked underground, Merely with smaller differences, at least at first. Everything was normal at first. Humans locked Monsters under the mountain, knowing they’d obliterated quite a good amount of monsters, but.. they didn’t think that was enough. “What if monsters broke free?” “What if monsters attacked and stole more human SOULS?” The rumors had gone. Fear overtaking the humans minds, causing them to act irrationally, and eventually irreversibly. Building what's known as the EBOTT Power plant around, and on top of the mountain. Thinking radiation would keep the magic strong, and that it would keep monsters from ever breaking free. But instead. It kept them trapped in an infected hellhole. the monsters starting to get sick, started to becoming injured, bodies changing. Becoming infected. Aggressive. 

Food started rotting faster, Plants had a hard time staying alive, it caused water to dry up, lava to burn hotter. Monsterkind full of fear and anger that the humans had done this to them, had started taking out their short comings on those around them, even their own kind. As if they couldn’t think for themselves in those short moments. But that’s all it took. It’s all it took to ruin their lives.  The magic and radiation creating a nasty sludge of toxins and dangerous, infectious magic that could get even the toughest monsters sick.

Things like mutations, sickness, injury, Sometimes even death. Not even the humans that would fall got lucky. That is the story of how this tragic tale begins.

Locked away, and sitting in wait for the worst to happen.
