Louise has a reindeer toy decorating her room during Christmas.
When no one's watching, she calls it "Rudolph the Regular-Sized Reindeer".
This is canon.

AND THAT'S A WRAP!
Roudise Week 2024 has finally come to an end! It has been so lovely this year. All the posts will be up on this blog for you to scroll through as you please. I will also make a collection of the Roudise Week fanfiction on AO3 in the next coming days.
Do not worry if you have some late entries for the week, we will still post them!
All this being said I want to thank all the people participating this year. The number of participants has dwindled down since last year, but we're still going strong. That being said, if it goes down some more I won't be able to carry the week on. As we put in a lot of effort for the ship week to stay running. Basically, if you can, please repost all the art you see, and any promotional stuff. I know Roudise isn't everyone's cup of tea, but some fans haven't seen this wonderful celebration and they may want to take part.
I'm so proud of you all, it's been so fun.
Until next year! <3
And If you want to carry on the Roudise discussion join our server, it's a lot of fun : https://discord.gg/FD9CvQSRS8

Summary:
“Roo, I’m going to ask you something and I need you to be completely honest with me.” “What is it?” he asked, swallowing as his expression became apprehensive. Both of her hands gripped his wrists as she looked him in the eye and asked what felt like the single most important question in her life: “Do you love me?” For what felt like ages they just stood there staring at each other. Then, slowly but surely, Rudy nodded. “Yes. I love you, Louise. I’m in love with you.” It felt like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders and her mouth turned up in a wide grin as she gazed up at him with so much adoration it made her chest ache. “I love you too, Rudy.” Then her smile became melancholic. “Even if I don’t remember falling in love with you.” The stunned look on his face nearly did her in. Then it morphed into a huge smile as he tugged her closer. “Yeah?” She nodded, her thumbs stroking over his prominent wrist bones. “Yeah. I have no idea if I’ll ever get my memories back but I want to be your wife again, Rudy. I want this. I want you.”

Two More to Love
Louise and Rudy shared nervous glances as they stepped into the restaurant. They hoped they could keep their secret. They were bursting with joy, but this was Tina’s night, and they did not want to take away from her.
It was funny that Plate and Fork had become significant to both Belcher sisters and their significant others. First Louise and Rudy had their first date there. Even Louise was surprised by the fact that she counted that night as a date, but it was when she realized she did in fact like-like Rudy. A fact she kept to herself for years. Then years later Zeke got a job there in college. They gave the employees a free meal during their shift. It wasn’t the fanciest meals but a choice between an appetizer or the cheaper entrees, but to a poor college kid it was the height of luxury. On the days she was off or worked opposite schedule to Zeke. Tina would come and they would share his meal together. There were a few times they were beyond broke, and Zeke would lie about having a stomachache so he could bring his meal home to Tina. Because of this the quartet celebrated all their birthdays and anniversaries at the establishment. Tonight was Tina’s thirty fifth birthday. It was also the night Louise and Rudy got what would tie for the best news of their lives. They wanted to shout their news from the rooftops but recognizing that she tended to be selfish and demanded attention. Louise had decided to wait to deliver the news until the next day. As hard as it was.
“Rudy! Louise!” Zeke called from their table.
“Hey Zeke, Hi Tina” Rudy greeted.
“Hi guys sorry we are late. Uh we had some uh business to attend to.” Louise explained.
“That’s OK. Mom and dad’s flight was delayed. They just touched down an hour ago. They had to run to the hotel to change and freshen up. Oh, and Gina and Holly are apparently having one of their epic fashion wars. So, they are late too.” Tina assured.
“Where are my twinsies?” Zeke asked.
“With Kaylee and Benj. We thought about bringing them, but they tend to completely lose their minds this time of night.” Louise explained.
“Understood Cody is watching ours.” Zeke replied.
Bob and Linda arrived first looking jet lagged. Then came Gina and Holly in their standard way over the top outfits. They ordered drinks and appetizers for the table. Zeke ordered a nice bottle of wine for the table. Louise and Rudy were the only two who did not partake. Rudy could not drink wine due to his asthma and Louise didn’t handle alcohol well. The boys would be arriving first thing in the morning, and she needed to be in tip-top shape.
“Oh, you aren’t having any wine, Louise. Are you OK?” Bob asked.
“Fine I just can’t drink tonight.” Louise replied nervously.
“Are you pregnant again?!” Linda cried.
“No! The twins were hard enough. I am never doing that again.” Louise cried.
“Yeah, but you have been acting weird since you got here.” Zeke observed.
“Before that even. When I called to ask if the seven o’clock reservation was OK. You just seemed really nervous.” Tina recalled.
“Look we got some news today it is good news, but we don’t want to take away from you.” Louise replied.
“I don’t mind.” Tina assured.
Louise leaned back in her chair. Was she really ready to reveal her big news? She was ecstatic but she was also scared to death. It was still so early. What if it really was too good to be true? What if the aunt changed her mind? What if social services decided the boys needed a more specialized home? What if the boys didn’t like them? What if the plane crashed? What if the grandma has spontaneous remission and no longer needed to give the boys up?
Louise groaned with annoyance at the sound of the phone ringing. It was way too early for a social call. Though the good news was it was also too late for the call to inherently be bad news. She grabbed the buzzing rectangle off the bedside table before it woke the twins or Rudy. Her eyes went wide when she saw who was calling. Could it be? No, it was too fast. She was probably just calling about a clerical error on their paperwork or maybe they needed another class or inspection.
“Hello?” Louise greeted tiredly.
“Good morning, Mrs. Belcher. Sorry for the early call but I do have some wonderful news. We have two boys who we think would do well in your care.” Amanda replied.
“What?!” Louise gasped.
“We have a set of brothers who need an emergency placement. Their aunt is only wanting to take the older one. So, they would be separated otherwise. I know you wanted to take a sibling group. Plus, the older boy has asthma like your husband and the younger one has ADHD like yourself. So, I feel it would be a perfect fit, but if it is not a good time.” Amanda explained.
“No, it’s perfect. It’s just I wasn’t expecting anything so soon. We were just approved for placement last week.” Louise replied.
“Yes, it typically is a much longer wait but given the circumstances things are a bit faster in your case.” Amanda explained.
“What’s going on?” Rudy asked sitting up in bed.
“They have kids for us. A set of brothers. They are going to be separated otherwise.” Louise summarized.
“Seriously?” Rudy gasped.
“Yes” Louise confirmed.
“That’s great!” Rudy cried.
The boys would be arriving the following day. They were currently living in Washington State with their grandmother. Unfortunately, she had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and could no longer care for them properly. They were due to be placed with their aunt back in New Jersey on Monday, but she backed out at the last minute. Not wanting to deal with the younger son’s behavioral issues. She had tried to take only the older son, but Amanda wanted to avoid separating them if possible. They had already been through hell and only had each other.
Louise and Rudy were both very nervous about this arrangement. Even though they had both always wanted to adopt and had been setting the goal in motion for years. Now that it was real. Now that they had children coming.
Rudy went to the kitchen and got started on breakfast. While Louise went to the nursery and got the twins ready. Robert Sylvester Hitchcock Belcher and Lily Tina Scully Belcher had recently turned one and were finally sleeping through the night and learning to entertain themselves. When Louise arrived that morning she found them babbling to each other in their twin language. Throwing in occasional toddler words.
“Good morning babies you are going to get two big brothers tomorrow.” Louise cooed.
Louise and Rudy spent the morning getting ready for the boys’ arrival. They got the guest room cleaned out and Teddy came over to help them assemble the bunk bed. They had used a single full-sized bed for their home inspection to avoid the daunting task of assembling the bunk bed. The trio carried the full bed downstairs to Teddy’s truck. Tina and Zeke’s youngest was almost ready for a big kid’s bed and this would be perfect for her.
“What is it baby?” Linda asked.
“Our social worker called today. We they have a set of brothers for us. It’s still early but because of the circumstances it looks like we may be able to begin the adoption process right away. Unfortunately, reunification with the bio parents is not possible.” Louise explained.
“Did you just get approved last week?” Holly questioned.
“Yeah, we were surprised too but because the boys have asthma and ADHD. Amanda decided we were perfect.” Louise replied.
“That is wonderful!” Linda cried.
“Yeah, I know you have wanted to adopt since you were a kid.” Bob noted.
“Yay! More nephews!” Gina cried.
“I am super happy for you guys.” Holly added.
“That is awesome” Zeke stated.
“Tina I am sorry for taking away from you. I know it was a bad habit in the past.” Louise apologized.
“Are you kidding? This is the best birthday present I could ask for!” Tina cried.
Sorry this was late.

Roudise Week Day 7: Secret/Magic

Happy last day of @roudiseshipweek!! It’s been a fun, wild ride, and I must give a huge, hearty thank you to @devilh0rnsinc for organizing this week and making it possible. I didn’t think I’d be able to get a drawing out for each day of this week, but I did!! And I feel very proud of myself because of it.
For this drawing, I decided to sketch out Rudy doing a magic trick and offering a flower to a flustered Louise. She’s secretly enjoying the whole thing, she’d just never admit it out loud!!
[ID]: Digital fanart of Louise Belcher and “Regular-Sized” Rudy Stieblitz from Bob’s Burgers. They are seen in a simple, sketchy style with monochromatic coloring and simple shading. Rudy is leaning forward on one leg, almost on one knee, offering a large flower to Louise. He’s holding a magician top hat in his other hand. He has rather short, fluffy hair, and has a large, joyful, open-mouthed grin on his face. Louise is standing with her arms at her sides, with a shocked expression on her face. She’s wearing a hat with floppy bunny ears and a long, flowy dress. She also has large, fluffy pigtails. Part of her hair is sticking out on her forehead. She’s blushing. They are standing in Louise’s family’s restaurant’s kitchen.

Unexpected
I_Hate_KVN93
Summary:
Louise and Rudy’s first anniversary does not go as expected. Thanks to what Louise thought was a random ailment.
Notes:
TW for referenced character death and vomiting.
Louise and Rudy arrived to the cabin a little after sundown. Mr. Fishodor’s creepy old hunting cabin wasn’t exactly the most romantic place for a first anniversary, but it was going to have to do. Their original plan was to spend their first anniversary in New York with Gina and Holly, but Louise hadn’t been feeling great lately and didn’t want to waste a fun vacation feeling too bad to do anything. At least they had planned to drive so they weren’t out for plane tickets and Gina and Holly’s friends had gladly accepted the extra Hamilton tickets they had.
“Are you sure you feel up to being here?” Rudy asked as he dropped his suitcase onto the living room floor.
“Yeah, I mean my stomach is still weird but it’s not any worse than it was before.” Louise replied.
“When is your doctor’s appointment again?” Rudy asked.
“Tuesday at ten.” Louise replied.
“Was that the earlies you could get?” Rudy questioned.
“Yes, but if I feel any worse or notice anything super worrisome, I will go straight to the ER.” Louise promised.
“I hope it’s nothing serious. We have only been married a year.” Rudy sighed.
“It’s probably just some kind of allergy or stress. Maybe an ulcer.” Louise assured.
“My dad thought his cancer was just a lingering flu.” Rudy whispered.
“Your dad was also pooping blood.” Louise reminded.
“I just don’t want to lose you.” Rudy replied.
“You won’t.” Louise assured.
It ended up being a good thing that Louise and Rudy didn’t try to go to New York. The snowstorm that was supposed to just be a light dusting suddenly gained intensity and turned into a real doozy. The turnpike was closed and as creepy as the Fishodor cabin was. It was still way better than a random roadside hotel full of strangers. Rudy got to work on dinner. While Louise settled in on the couch. She opened up Peacock and put on an episode of 30 Rock. She had never really watched it, but Jessica swore by it. The episode ended and she put on Brooklyn 99. Rudy placed the soup on the stove top and joined her.
“So, you seriously spend Christmas here as a kid?” Rudy questioned.
“Yeah, when I was nine. We had some electrical problem at the apartment and Mr. Fishodor made us stay here instead of putting us up in a hotel. Which is a rip considering we saved his life but whatever.” Louse explained.
“So how did you deal with you know. That?” Rudy asked.
“My dad tried to cover it with an extra sheet but that didn’t work long. Finally, we covered it with wrapping paper.
“Well, It’s January so we don’t have any wrapping paper.” Rudy scoffed.
“I could run to the store for one.” Louise suggested.
“In this weather? No way!” Rudy cried.
“Right” Louise agreed.
“Why did you insist on getting married in January?” Rudy questioned.
“Because everybody gets married in the summer.” Louise replied.
“Yeah, but why January?” Rudy prodded.
“It’s a pretty dull month so our anniversary is bound to get noticed.” Louise explained.
“I guess that makes sense. Hey, can we watch a Parks and Recreation after this?” Rudy asked.
‘Of courses” Louise replied.
The weather continued to deteriorate until the storm knocked out the power. At least Rudy was able to finish dinner, and Louise was able to get his famous chicken soup in her. It was a simple recipe, and she had eaten it a thousand times before but, on that night, it did not agree with her. She was feeling worse than before all of the sudden and it was too stormy to drive to the ER or even the little urgent care they built at the bottom of the hill. Hell, that place was closed. She felt lousy but she didn’t want to call an ambulance. Instead, she grabbed her Kuchi Kopi blanket and a few pillows. Setting up a makeshift bed on the bathroom floor. Her mind went back to all the tummy bugs she endured as a child on the floor of the apartment bathroom. She snuggled under the warm fleece blanket and attempted to get some sleep. She woke about an hour later to a strong jolt of pain in her stomach. She knew what was about to happen and tried her best to make it to the toilet. Despite it being just a few inches away she was unsuccessful. Instead, she was sick all over her bed and blanket. She sighed and drug everything to the washing machine. She grabbed more pillows but had foolishly only brought one blanket. The cabin was freezing, and she was dreading having to shiver on the floor but no way she was going to attempt to clean an antique mattress. She set up her second bed and rested just a few inches above the freezing floor. She closed her eyes and tried again to sleep. This time she was awakened by shuffling. She looked up to see Rudy coming towards her with the most insanely comfortable looking blanket she had ever seen. She knew it was one of the things his dad had owned, and she was terrified of being sick on it. Not only did he drape the blanket over her, but he also curled up next to her on the hard floor. The cabin was still far too cold but suddenly she was very, very warm.
Rudy let her sleep late in the morning while he tried to figure out a way to make breakfast. He had only brought bacon and eggs, and the range was electric. Louise still felt awful, but she could not take the floor any longer. She returned to the room Rudy and her had selected and climbed onto the bed. She grabbed Rudy’s laptop and put on Parks and Recreation. She felt a little bad watching without him, but it was right there, and she did not have the energy to find something else. It was the second flu season episode. AKA the episode where Leslie learned she was pregnant. After the episode ended, she put on Brooklyn 99, and it happened to be the episode where Rosa thought she was pregnant. Louise’s heart jumped to her throat, and she found herself childishly counting back on her fingers. Holy Shit! She bolted out of bed and ran to the bathroom. She wasn’t counting on finding her desired item, but Mr. Fishodor had started renting it out as an Air B & B. So, there was a chance. She began rifling under the sink until she came to a box.
“Bingo” Louise whispered.
She read the directions and after drinking two cups of water she was able to complete the task. It was only supposed to take five minutes, but it felt like an eternity. She grabbed the wand off the counter and sure enough her suspicions were confirmed. She had always intended to adopt her children but Rudy and her were not always careful. So, she knew it was a possibility but now that it was real. It was surreal. She clutched the wand close to her chest and slowly made her way down to the kitchen where Rudy was trying in vain to cook eggs with only a candle and a cheap Bic lighter.
“OK that is not going to work.” Louise snorted.
“Yeah, it was a bad plan, but I am starving.” Rudy moaned.
“It’s not nutritious but I packed some cookies.” Louise replied.
“I don’t care! It’s food!” Rudy cried.
“Right” Louise agreed.
“Are you feeling better?” Rudy asked.
“Not really but I know why I have been feeling sick now.” Louise informed.
“Why?” Rudy asked.
“Rudy I’m pregnant.” Louise announced holding out the stick.
“Holy Sh…” Rudy gasped before collapsing on the kitchen floor just inches from the horrifying falcon picture. Louise smiled, placed the test in his hands, and snapped a picture of him on the floor in front of the mural. “Best pregnancy announcement ever!” Louise whispered. It was a full-on blizzard in a poorly insulated cabin with no electricity and yet Louise had never felt warmer in her life.

Today is the last day of Roudise Ship Week and I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who participated! I have loved seeing all the art, stories, headcanons, and other works that have been posted this week!
And I love how fun and supportive the discussions in the Discord are! In the past sometimes Roudise has felt like a kind of lonely ship to me, so it's great to see such a fun community develop around it!
Thanks to Devil for organizing @roudiseshipweek and to everyone who participated!
I wish I could've posted something this week, but the past month and a half has been one of the craziest ones of my life (started new job, moved to new house, got sick with what I think was the flu but turned out to be pneumonia). I do have some ideas for some of the prompts that I love and I may end up posting later on.

Happy Day 6 of @roudiseshipweek!! I just knew I had to draw these two dorks holding hands, because how could I not? Aghhh, they’re adorable.
