NOTICE: i am very much a beginner in japanese, so some of these translations are most likely wrong. please take these translations with a grain of salt and please feel free to correct me on any mistakes i’ve made. thank you! ねえ知ってる ( Hey, you know ) かまくらの中は暖かいんだよ ( The kamakura is warm inside ) 思わず眠れちゃうかもね ( I might fall asleep unintentionally ) ねえ知ってる (Hey you know) 雪の夜は静かなんだよ (It’s quiet on snowy nights) 違う星にきたみたいだ (It seems you’ve come to the wrong star) すぐに転んじゃうけど ( I quickly fall ) ぽかぽかのココアでがんばろう ( Let’s do our best with very warm cocoa ) 今日はそれがいいよね ( It was good today ) 故郷でも旅人でもあかりを灯す ( The lights shine for citizens and travelers ) 美しいのさ笑うも泣くもその全てを ( Laughing or crying, it’s all beautiful ) 振り返るのは今日くらいだから贈るよ ( Looking back today, I’ll give you that much ) らららぼくらが歌えば ( La, la, la, if we sing ) きみに届くかい ( Will it reach you? ) らららぼくらの軌跡を ( La, la, la, the trail we made ) またいつか思い出せますように ( I hope you will remember someday ) ねぇ聞いてる ( Hey, listen) また退屈になっちゃうんだよ ( I’m getting bored once again ) 氷が溶けてしまえば ( Once the ice has melted ) すぐに転んじゃうけど ( I quickly fall ) ふかふかのコートで平気だぞ ( But I’m fine with my fluffy coat ) みんなそれでいいのに ( Everyone should turn out okay ) 何故かいつもひとりになると寂しくなる ( So why do I always feel lonely when I’m alone? ) 美しいとは笑うことだけじゃないんだろう ( Beautiful is not just about laughing ) 覚えておこう道標となる時まで ( Until it becomes a signpost to remember ) らららぼくらが描けば ( La, la, la, if we draw ) きみに届くかい ( Will it reach you? ) らららぼくらの足跡 ( La, la, la, the footprints we leave ) また明日消えてしまうけど ( They will disappear tomorrow ) 消えてしまうけれど ( They will disappear ) 不思議な話なんだよ ( It’s a mysterious story ) 幾年経てば ( How many years will have passed ) また見えるようになるのさ ( When I can see you again ) 風になる言葉と一緒に ( With the words of the wind ) そしたらまた思い出そうよ ( Then I will remember again ) この寒い日を ( This cold day ) 転んだ後に気付くものよ ぽかぽかの星 ( You will notice when you fall, a warm star ) それで良いのさどこにも ( Everywhere is okay ) 完璧な人なんて居ないのだ ( Nobody is perfect ) また歌おうこんな雪の夜に ( Let’s sing again on such a snowy night ) notes: “kamakura” is an igloo like house in japan used for festivals. ららら  is not an actual word. it’s pronounced “ra, ra, ra” but when translating it to english, it would have the same effect as “la, la, la”
