I am Ahmed from Gaza. I never thought that life would take me so far away from my loved ones in this way. A month before the war, I traveled to the Netherlands in search of a living, leaving behind my children who need me. The bitterness of exile weighs heavily on my heart, but what pains me more is what my family is experiencing in Gaza right now.😭😭💔

Our home was bombed, and my family was displaced from one place to another, finding themselves in a tent with no basic necessities for life. They are now suffering from serious illnesses and a severe shortage of medicine and food, and they have no provider. I write these words hoping my voice reaches your compassionate hearts, and perhaps you will find in your hearts the willingness to help these afflicted families.

This is Rania Yousef, (@raniayousef1999) a 25-year-old girl who is trying to collect funds to support what is left of her family. Famine, bombs, artillery and disease threaten their livelihoods every second.

This drawing below is among her many drawings based on the destruction she witnesses in Gaza Strip.

It depicts the horrific aftermath of the besieging of Al-Shifa Hospital by the occupation forces. She embodied this in a drawing, as she and her family buried her father there after he was tragically killed.

I'm Anas Basil, a recent high school graduate with dreams of pursuing a degree in e-business management and building a career. However, due to my family's financial hardships, I enrolled at Khan Younis Training College (KYTC), affiliated with UNRWA. Sadly, the war has turned the college, once a beacon of hope and education, into a shelter for displaced families, stripping it of its educational purpose.

I completed high school with a 93% average, filled with excitement about continuing my education and securing a job to support my family. But like so many others, the war has shattered those dreams.

My younger brother, Ahmad, is 14 years old and currently in the third grade of preparatory school. We’ve always called him "Doctor of the Future" because of his intelligence and natural talent in mathematics. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing war, he has been deprived of schooling for the second consecutive year. In addition to his academic abilities, Ahmad has a passion for football and used to win tournaments.

Our Life in Displacement: The war forced our family to flee to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for several months. Each day, my brother and I would wake up to fetch water, gather wood, and light a fire to prepare food. Survival became our daily task, but we never gave up hope. The conflict affected us deeply, but it did not extinguish our dreams of education and a better future.

[Post date: 7/24/24] Hello, forgive me for asking for help when I know everyone is struggling. But my income is inconsistent because I'm physically disabled and constantly get sick due to the work that I do, which compounds the issue of trying to remain stable. I have no reliable transportation because the family car died and I haven't been able to build any savings to replace it. My landlady just raised rent starting next month.

Sorry that I have no real specific goal. I've been trying to find a normal job for over six months, without avail even when I get interviews. It's difficult to get anywhere I need to when I either have to walk despite my mobility issues or pay other people to take me to places.

No one is obligated to help me, of course. I appreciate anyone that takes the time to just merely read my situation.
