"TUNGA IS MY HOMETOWN"

My lovely hometown is at Tunga. A town which is located in Leyte. I love to live here because the environment is so comfortable and make me always splendid in here ,also friendly people too. I love everything belongs my hometown where I was born and grew in 19yrs.

Tunga is a small town of Leyte wherein peace and order exist. Rules and regulations are properly implented by the higher-ups and to be followed by every individual Tungan-ons. Tungan-ons here in Tunga are known for being jolly and hospitable individuals. Tunga has its own majestic tourist spots like Aurora's Garden Resort, Beengo farm, Lemon grass and many more. Tunga is a small town with lots of discoveries to unfold.

Advantages includes living in peace, serenity and away from toxic way of living. Also living in Tunga will not make your stomach growl because if you are lacking of food you can plant vegetables or any other resources that may help you to survive each passing day.

One of the biggest advantages in our town , Tunga life style is total absence of hyper social interaction life in small town is very much slower and calmer because there are no rushing crowds and traffic jam . Moreover in Tunga there are quite strangers on the streets and mostly people know each other well.

Disadvantages includes mainly the slow internet connection in any area of Tunga and lack of resources. My terrible experience so far living in this town is the landfall of supertyphoon Yolanda, because aside from wrecked houses it brings, the typhoon made our living almost depressing back then. And Tunga has two rivers when, comes the heavy rainy season the rivers are prone in floods. Even though, countless problems occured back then, we still manage to survive and continue life as what it is.

Growing up in this lovely little town that all of us are lucky enough to call home never really reached me until I left to seek my chance for higher education after high school. Leaving in Tunga and having these opportunities has assisted me in growing as an individual but these component also made me realize where my heart will forever remain. No matter where life may take me in future my heart and soul, my gratitude and passions forever with this town.
