“A pastime?” Roxy asked before laughing. “Oh my god, how do you still have teeth?” she clapped her hands together. Roxy hummed before nodding, “Okay, bet. Though, if we fall, it won’t be my fault.”

Roxy bit down on her bottom lip, looking at her broom and then looking at the other. “Uh...is that information necessary because I’d rather take it to my grave if you don’t mind.”

YJ threw open the door, posing in the frame before pausing, and blinking as he noticed who was standing in front of him. “You’re not who I thought you were. That’s awkward. Feel free to just erase this from your memory completely.”

Roxy blinked, staying quiet for a moment as she took everything in. Then a wide grin spread across her face. “This was so embarrassing, I’m going to burn this in my memory and keep it forever, oh my god,” she said, clasping her hands together excitedly.

“And you get to talk to a cute one, lucky you.” He joked. YJ nodded in agreement, “Yeah, that first practice back will be rough. But at least I know everyone else will be suffering too. Ain’t that the beauty of team sports? Win together, suffer together.” He leaned on his cart, and replied, “There’s a field near the school we all went to, it’s in St Albans, Hertfordshire. It’s like 20 minutes out of London.” He looked up, “A Weasley classic? What are we talking?”

“I’ve truly been blessed,” she grinned. Roxy couldn’t help but laugh, “Win together, suffer together? Merlin, I don’t know if that’s hopeful or morbid as shit,” she said. “But, I kind of dig it,” she said. The pink haired girl hummed in interest, “That sounds fun!” A smirk spread across Roxy’s lips, “It could be a traditional Weasley dish...it could be an iconic Weasley sweater. That’s for me to know and you to stick to your part of the trade.”

Hugo clutched the goodie bag full with Roxy’s favourite candy, alcohol and snacks, hoping that it would be enough to lessen the blow. “Oi, Weasley!” he called out as soon as he stepped into their flat and headed to the living room where he saw her sprawled on the couch. “Merry Christmas, bitch,” he lifted the bag up. “We need to talk.” @roxyweaslcy·

Roxy was lounging on the couch and playing her switch when she heard Hugo come in. “What?” she called back, not wanting to get up. The pink haired girl, sat up straighter, putting her console on her lap. “Ooh, what’s this? A bribe?” she asked, making grabby hands at the bag of candy. “I would’ve covered you at grandma’s house for free, but I’ll take some hush candy.”

“Exactly, you never ever saw me at the supermarket, this is a covert operation.” YJ said, with a wink. He laughed, “I mean my coach will punish me for it all at the first practice after the holiday break whether I eat it or not so might as well go for it and then work it off later. Plus I’ll end up going out to play soocer with some of my muggle friends anyway.” He grinned, “I can, but do I get something in return?”

“I’ve always wanted to talk to a ghost of some kind,” she tease with a laugh. Roxy tucked a piece of pink hair behind her ear. “You know what, you’re absolutely right,” she said with a slight nod. “Honestly, I can eat healthy all I want but once I stop going to the gym, practice is going to be hell, anyways,” she said. With that in mind, she put more candy in her cart that she’d probably share with Hugo. “Soccer sounds fun. Where do you guys play?” She asked, curious. “I may be able to get you a Weasley classic.”

YJ laughed. “It’s Christmas, Weasley. You’re allowed a little candy.” He reached out tossing a bag of his favorite sour gummy worms in his own cart, and adding. “You also didn’t see anything.” He hesitated before adding another bag. “And I expect no judgement here because there is no watching your food at Christmas. It’s against the rules. My mum actually made that a rule during school.”

Roxy mimicked zipping her lips as to signal keeping a secret, “I didn’t see a single thing. It looked like you threw an invisible bag into your cart,” she mused with a bright grin. “With enough food my grandma is gonna make, a little candy is definitely cheating,” she sighed but tossed it in her cart anyways. Roxy laughed at his words, “Okay, I officially love your mom, and you’re going to bring me a plate of whatever she makes right?”

YJ tossed a 5kg pack of chicken breast into his cart before heading towards the vegetables, he loaded up on fruit and vegetables and then he headed the junk food isle. As an athlete he tried to eat clean the majority of the time but it was almost Christmas, as he turned into the junk food isle he almost bumped into someone. “Oh, sorry, oh, hey. stocking up for Christmas?”

Roxy knew she should stay away from the candy isle, but the Harpies were off for a few weeks because of holidays so one bag wouldn’t kill her. She was comparing two different brands when she felt someone bump into her. She blinked at the other before smiling when she recognized YJ. “Yo,” she greeted. She quickly dropped the bags of chocolate that was in her hands, “You didn’t see anything.”
