[He clears his throat and rephrases, not wanting to jump into accusations so quick.]

[He laughs nervously, but just has to follow up with another question which still hasn’t been answered.]

[Varian takes a step back to let Hugo in, and his eyes widen when he sees the new clothes.]

Oh wow-

[He gestures to them.]

[He arches an eyebrow at Hugo when he finds he’s craning his neck more to see him.]

[He yawns, still pretty tired from the events of the week.

Rubbing his eyes, he gets a better look at Hugo, noticing he’s just sitting on the window ledge.]

[Varian rubs his arm nervously, starting to feel a bit guilty.]

*relieved laughter*

[He considers the question and then restates, this time with a sadder and serious tone.]

[Varian rolls off his bed and lands on the floor with a groan.]

Aghhhh...Hugo what are you doing it’s 2 in the-

[He suddenly realizes what’s happening and jumps up.]

[Varian shifts a bit in his bed, now half asleep from the knocking. Through his foggy subconscious, he can almost hear Hugo’s voice, but he just groans and passes it off as a dream, rolling back over.]

[Hugo knocks on Varian’s window, narrowing his eyes into the darkness]

[Varian looks up at him with a small smile, but still feels rotten on the inside.]

Heh, thanks Eugene.

[Varian walks away from the vault, not wanting to think about it anymore. There was no doubt about it: Hugo was definitely the culprit. The question was, why?]

[Eugene was doing his daily patrol around the castle, He would check every hallway and room making sure nothing was out of the ordinary.]

*closes the library door*

Library seems to be secure, now I just have to check the Royal Vault and I can meet Rapunzel later.

[Eugene made his way to the Royal Vault and saw something different about it, as if someone tampered with it]

*skeptically*

Hmm, I don’t remember any of the guards saying they opened the Vault?

[Eugene opens the door and walks in inspecting if anything was missing, he noticed half the jewels were stolen]

*shocked*

What?! Someone stole from the Vault?!

*Calls Stan and Pete*

Stan, Pete I need you to lock down the castle, don’t let anyone in or out till I say so.

[Stan and Pete Nod and begin to lock down the castle]

*sighs*

I’m going to have to tell Rapunzel about this.
