Honestly hey should put they sequel in logic order but they didn't even try to do it or even renew it to make it better 😒

Even Chiaki sequel they could done it better. Its wasn't terrible but to me a bit boring.

And if Shizuka had a sequel i wonder how it could have been 🤔

Maybe a crazy exes who want to take revenge on him ? 😅 and mc help her 🤣 or maybe his father figure dying and him griefing.

And mei definitively about that older woman that groomed him and his relationship with his mother.

Im pretty sure if her mom discover it she would blame herself for not seeing the hint or being there for him 🤔 and the kira brothers especially Toma and Minami would try to find who is it.

And for each i wished they didn't made the mc just as the supporter but with story as well but i can always dream 😮‍💨

Like for Minami sequel she was just there to support him but dont have her own story.

Maybe for her its could have been about her dream of course but maybe her own mother too 🤔 beside her father we dont hear much about her mother.

She's very introverted so maybe her facing anxiety while trying to work as a concierge and the boys supporting her instead.

Improvements and additional stories definitely could've been done, It would have been nice if the international versions had gotten better treatment. They were doing so well early on, but you could tell the quality was dropping in translation and gameplay over time before it stopped altogether without warning.

It feels so surreal 😭😭😭😭 Gotten so used to the game just quietly being there, but I'm just mad about all of the time and money invested only for them to shut down for good instead of leaving it alone or making a version for players to truly own.

Noooo! I didn't finish Chiaki's sequel, and I was going to play Shizuka's route :(. I was planning to write some fics once I played every route. This is such a disappointment. I knew they would eventually shut down their apps, but they could've notified people beforehand. This feels so sudden. I also feel bad for the other new players who were spending money on this game. Well, at least we still have LaDS (for now 🥀🥀😟).

I'm surprised out of all Arithmetic's games, they've chosen to shut down SSS first. I can think of two of their games that were horribly handled and neglected that wouldn't shock anyone if they were shut down for good.

Considering the international versions haven't had new updates in years (and with no announcements either), they could have just left the game as is like they have been doing for over 5 years 🙄

(I'm confident LADS will last for many years. We'll have our men for a long, long time 🥹❤️‍🩹)

I dont know if its an unpopular opinion but sometimes when i played this games its frustrate me so much because i notice several time in the boys route and event they never really listen to the MC but when its one if the them who say what she want to say they suddently listen ( like naoki or rintaro ). Its kinda triggering me cuz why you all not listen to her and suddently listen when its naoki or rintaro who talk for her you all suddently listen and none of them wanna listen to her. Its feel like what she think is not worth to hear but if one of them say it its suddently worth to listen 🤔🤨🫤

I think this is a perfectly valid opinion. It can be infuriating when MC's opinions or feelings get dismissed, since it shows a lack of respect for her (and subsequently towards us). For many older otome games, I feel like this is always an issue where the MCs are just...there and don't have any say or feelings regarding things.

I heard about this game (around late 2017 or early '18) while I was a minor, but played it when I got older.

Currently on Chiaki's route and I love it so far. I usually avoid the Dating Sim genre because they're either too corny, hypersexual, or just boring. Sometimes the art style or the lack of audio/voice acting is enough for me not to play them.

I prefer PC games; however, this has to be the only game, within its genre, I've actively downloaded and played. I honestly love the story and my favorite part of the game is the character interactions and the art style. Not a huge fan of the app's GUI. It was kind of hard to navigate at first ngl.

Sadly, I doubt I will play other routes after Chiaki's since there isn't any new content. I'll just go on YouTube, it's super reliable🤣🤣🤣

Shoutout to the 6 Arithmetic fans left tho. If you were expecting more mobile content, y'all not getting it 🤣. The company seems to be publishing games instead of developing them. I've noticed that they are working on console games (on Nintendo and PS Vita).

🫶 I'm surprised that even with years of inactivity, there are still new players! Even if you are only interested in Chiaki's route, then at least make sure to check out his sequel as well! It should be available to choose from in the game.

As I've mentioned elsewhere in a previous ask, this blog has always set out to be an archive, so there should be many caps from previous events and a few gacha diaries.

I've read somewhere that you no longer write for the fandom. I, however, would like to write for the fandom (IF I could find the time).

I would like to pick your brain for a bit and understand what your writing process is like when capturing the essence of a character without turning them into caricatures. I find it difficult to write narratives since I'm used to writing informative papers.

I always find myself just scraping ideas, always daydreaming, and never writing at all.

You can ignore this if it's too personal.

Yeah, I think I mentioned in a previous ask that since the game is no longer active, I don't have any interest in writing fics for the fandom anymore. I still write fanfics...just not for SSS anymore 😅

Characterization is very important to me since it'll either make or break a story. I feel like a lot of time, people lean into one distinct character trait, and it falls flat, creating a very one-dimensional character, which leads into the OOC territory.

When writing characters, in the scene you're writing, ask yourself these three questions:

1. How would this character react?

2. Why is this character reacting this way?

3. Can I justify this reaction? (Can you think of a similar canon event or background information that can support this reaction)

Other things to consider when writing a particular character: speech pattern and mannerism. How do they speak? Do they use pet names? Certain slang or lingo? How do they behave? Do they have any sort of tics or quirks?

If writing stories is something you're interested in starting, I would encourage you to just start writing and experimenting. As with any other skills, you need to practice to improve. Most of my wips are started by just jotting snippets or dialogues in my phone notes, and I'll transfer them over to a proper word document when I have a chance. Just like with writing technical papers, it's okay if the first draft is messy and unorganized. The important thing is to get the ideas you want down first, and then you can go back later and revise as needed.

I'm sick and tired of this trope in the romance genre; when the MC gets spoiled and she declines or faints at the price or offers to go 50/50 eww. LIKE GURL, just enjoy being spoiled. Be MORE SELFISH!! I understand if the MC is just not used to the treatment but how many times are you going to act sooo shock that your rich love interest is buying a Birkin and some Van Cleef lol? Like cmon girl STAND UP!!! I get that the writers are trying to show that the MC has humility and kind-hearted but this is just annoying to me. WE NEED MORE GOLD DIGGING MCs!!!
