No problem! This version takes place in Mexico 18XX. It introduces new characters based on real historical figures and includes two mini stories revolving around the Opera House and the Phantom. In this adaptation, he isn’t a villain but rather a powerful figure who helps struggling artists achieve their dreams for mysterious reasons, think of him more like Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon.

The story focuses more on Christine’s journey and her romance with the mysterious man. They become partners in these mini-adventures 😉, so there will be plenty of cute scenes between them.

The characters still share some traits with their original versions, but their motives and the lessons they must learn are different.

One very important thing is the effect of music. Showing sound in a comic is tricky, but I found a pretty crazy way to make it look amazing. I hope you’ll like it when the comic comes out.

Hi! Thanks for asking, I'm still working on it.

It's my first time making a comic, I'm trying to do my best but I keep encountering interesting problems and things that I should have learned to do before like backgrounds. You're going to see a difference in the quality of the first pages compared to the rest of them, I'm getting better at it.

This is a little scene from the first episode, I still need to color it.

Also an old friend helped me with the design of the opera house and even made a 3D model of it.

Since the story happens in Mexico we can't have the Garnier UwU

Can you tell me what size you usually use for your canva?

It depends, if it's a desktop background I begin with 1920x1080, if it is a normal post then I use 1080x1080 pixels, I use these sizes only for the sketch.

When I get to the lineart phase I enlarge it to 7,000x7,000 pixels more or less.
