Well fall is officially in full swing and we could not be happier to be releasing our thoughtfully curated collection of brand new arrivals! (Note: New Arrivals Launch 10/18/18) 

We have also added some new brands to the Marketplace; Modern Burlap, Doodle Pants (Holiday Edition) and Estella NYC accessories.  Two of these three brands are modern styled with a minimalist feel and made from the softest, 100% organic Cotton! More on these brands in just a bit!

The biggest news for us came with the addition to The Finder’s Market Storefront in Historic Downtown Sumner, Washington. We were invited to add some of our best selling items that would fast become a quick stop for the BEST Baby gifts! Finder’s Market is your one-stop for unique, high quality home décor, gifts and everything in between! We launched our pieces October 3rd and have been a huge hit with the

  local shoppers.

Currently, we have Exclusive pieces in the shop that are not available on-line, so if you are local to the Pacific Northwest-specifically Western Washington, you should spend some time in Downtown Sumner, you will welcome the wonder of an awesome smalltown Main St.

New Arrivals+New Brands Launch

What I wanted to do with this Fall/Winter collection was to bring together a collection of simply stated, well designed, unisex pieces that could grow with families as they expand. We have also grown this seasonal drop with staple items, such as coordinating organic cotton muslin swaddles, throw blankets, bibs and uniquely designed teethers.  The organic, handmade knit rattles and loveys will fit your little loves tiny hands so perfectly and you’ll be happy to know they are non-toxic and safe for baby to chew on all day long!

  One of the favorite brands of last fall was the Organic Cotton/Bamboo Blend clothing from Berkley Grown brands, Nohi Kids! We have expanded this release to include coordinating pajamas from Newborn to size 4T as well! The coordinating romper/sister dresses were a huge hit this summer, so we really hope you’ll love what we have in store for the fall release.

  Moose, Snowmen and Penguins?!? Yes, please- we have all of your favorites in from 3-months to 4Y in coordinating t-shirts and through 24-months in coordinating leggings! Yes, these are adorable on a little guy or girl!

Here at RozeeCheeks Boutique, we have spent the last few months planning out our summer pop-up shows and collections that are truly unique. When we first opened our on-line boutique we searched for brands that were GOTS certified, ethically sourced and offered prints that were equally unique for our customer base. As we are fast approaching our second year, that same standard is just as important as it was then. I love to venture out to the kids shows, to see what is new and boy did our favorite local brand NOT DISAPPOINT!  Then there are brands that while researching on-line you find and then you just know you have to have them in your own shop.

If you have not had a chance to visit us online recently you probably have not seen our latest spring arrivals. This Spring we went with a variety of bright, colorful prints that you just can’t help but get excited about and also were lucky enough to grab some of the magnificent Wildflower collection from one of our original brands, Finn+Emma.

  Our Newest Arrivals hit the shop on Friday, June 15th and you won’t want to miss it! We’ve got some of the cutest styles in sizes Newborn-3T and here is just a sneak peek, so add a reminder because I have a feeling they won’t last long.

POP-UP Events

We’ve also got one of our favorite events beginning this Friday at 12 noon and running through Father’s day at 5pm. We will be at Meeker Days in Downtown Puyallup so if you’re local you will surely want to check out this family friendly event. All of our newest arrivals will be on display along with some killer savings on clearance items.

April 27th and 28th we will be at the Washington State Fairgrounds for the Great Junk Hunt. We recently hosted our very first brand rep search for RozeeCheeks Boutique! We were looking for trendsetting kiddos, who’s parents supported small business  and boy did we luck out with a couple of great kids! For the next few months, we will spotlight some of our favorite gear from the shop and you’ll get a chance to see how these moms have taken some of the trendiest styles and paird it to make adorable outfit inspirations!

Our First Featured Darling is Sadie Rae, a fun-loving 15month little gal who will steal your heart.

When I had my first of 3 little guys, I will admit I knew nothing and I depended on the recommendations of new moms, grand moms and even nannies, who’d had countless years of experience. There were few recommendations that were consistent among the group of ladies I’d met. Today, I’m going to touch on a couple of these things and then you can let me know your thoughts!

My absolute favorite recommendation was a swaddle. A REALLY GOOD QUALITY SWADDLE! Swaddling is the art of snugly wrapping a baby in a blanket for warmth and security. It can keep your baby from being disturbed by her own startle reflex, and it can help her stay warm and toasty for the first few days of life until her internal thermostat kicks in. It may even help to calm your baby. “After she reaches 2 to 3 months of age, swaddle her with one arm out. If she gets fussier, continue wrapping (with both arms in) for a few more weeks. However, if she still sleeps well with one arm out, she probably doesn’t need swaddling anymore.” In warmer climates, (like Arizona) we used a lightweight, breathable cotton muslin swaddle, like the one pictured below. Baby “D” loved being swaddled, and it provided him the security to sleep warmly and tightly this way for about 9 weeks.

  Next up, a sleep sacque– okay, I will admit I didn’t even try one until baby #2, despite the high recommendations and boy was I blown away by how convenient they really are. Think about every night, 3-4 times waking up to nurse your newborn, checking for a soiled diaper, unzipping or unbuttoning (horrified gasp) a half asleep baby and just as you zip they are wide awake smiling at you. You smile back though hazy eyes and begin a slow rock. Infant sacks change all of that with an elasticized bottom you can swiftly check babe, with little to no interruption. You will thank the heavens above for this little miracle.

If you are a mom on the go, The Solly Baby Wrap is going to be a life-saver!!! During summer, or in warmer climates, baby wearing can make both you and your little one a sweaty mess. But the Solly wrap, a traditional front-carry style, is made from lightweight modal fabric, sustainably sourced from Austrian Beechwood trees, that just gets softer—but stays strong—after each wash. Made for newborns to nine months old (up to 25 lbs.)

  Lastly, the PujTub- Tiny newborn bodies don’t need an entire bathtub to get clean. That’s why for generations parents have used the kitchen sink instead. The Puj Tub is a spongy sink insert that cradles and cushions babies during their first splish-splashes. Afterwards, it hangs flat to dry and takes up hardly any space.

  Now, my youngest is now 4 years old and I’ve come across the most amazing baby product that makes changing baby easy-peasy. It’s a magnetic closure baby clothing line. It’s been raved about by new moms and dads and has also received the award for most innovative baby product over the last 2 years. See for yourself how incredible this is!

Welcome 2018! I can’t even believe that we are just over a week into the New Year and I’m just getting around to telling you about all of the terrific new things RozeeCheeks is up to and planning for this year!

First off, we are going to be continuing our very successful model of the “traveling baby boutique”, this was such a great venture for us and allowed us to meet so many great customers along the way and it was also an opportunity for me to gain firsthand knowledge of what you all loved (and didn’t love so much 🙂 I love getting feedback from all of you, because it helps us to continue growing in the right direction! So, with that being said, I have added a Pop-Up shop calendar  to the website so you can see where we will be next.  Not local, but love what you see? No worries, our shipping is still FREE in the US and Canada!

Secondly, we are adding even more fabulous brands to the boutique including the insanely cool, and parent approved Magnetic Me brand, which features Modal fabric, a natural and eco-friendly material. You will LOVE their easy closures and adorable Spring Lines that debut mid-February. We are also bringing back the best Bloomers on the planet, Billie Blooms. Brand new prints and re-stock of some of your favorites will launch in February. Billie Blooms are currently on sale in the shop now for only $20!

    Swaddles & coordinating bibs are coming!!! I am so excited to bring in Aden+Anais Silky Soft swaddles, available in multiple prints to satisfy every new mom. Swaddles are one of the most giftable items for a new parents, you can’t go wrong with these beautiful prints.

  Lastly- LouLou Lollipop is coming!!!! We have the coolest pacifier clips dropping into the shop at the end of the month. You will be able to shop the cutest wood and silicone teethers and clips that add a spark of cuteness to baby’s adorable wardrobe! Mom teething necklaces will be a part of this collection as well!

Summer is quickly winding down and we are fully stocked with the most modern organic baby coveralls! These will quickly become your favorite go-to for your little guy or gal. Kate Quinn Organics just released some new fresh fall fashion and believe me, you will fall head over heels for these modern, casually styled organic jersey jumpsuits. We are fast approaching our 1st anniversary and my, oh my, what an amazing (good, bad and stressful) 12 months it has been! RozeeCheeks Baby Boutique was just an idea for the last 5 years- you know as a new mom, there were so many things I wanted to do- dreams that were put on hold as I worked full-time, returned to school to collect my degree as well as babies #2 and #3 soon followed!

So, here I am in September of 2016 and I’ve just lost my mother (who was my planning partner) in this original “organic baby clothes store” dream I had. Once she had passed, it didn’t take long for that passion to reignite in me, as I just dove head first into building this business, sharing our innate passion for unique clothing that was good for our children as well as our planet. Building RozeeCheeks from the ground up was no easy task, but with an innate passion for something you love, it does not necessarily seem like work-but you are climbing a mountain, step-by step as carefully as you can, slipping a time or two (or ten).  For the last 11 months, I have lived and breathed RozeeCheeks, and I could not be more proud of what we (my husband and I) have built, in my mother’s honor.

When we started, we had four awesome brands in our marketplace and have since added five more. We have had hit some major milestones along the way, partnering with major collaborators like Finn+Emma and RE-Play Recycled Children’s Tableware as well as exhibiting at our very first Baby Show back in May.

What makes us different? We take a very personal approach in building our customer base. We have been very blessed to meet our customers in a very unique way, such as festivals, fairs and vintage markets. These types of pop-up events are fairly uncommon and unusual for an organic baby boutique but as retail changes, we knew we had to do something different to attract a new audience. My favorite part of this? The stories- the excited grandmother shopping for her first grandchild, the couple who has purchased their first baby outfit from me, the grandfather who snags a gift for his daughter and the aunt who have found the “must have” gift for her new niece. The stories go on and on, and it makes me so proud that they have chosen to shop and share their stories with us. After 10 hours of on your feet retail, I may be tired but my heart is full!

While we currently travel through the Pacific Northwest, I am looking forward to expanding out to California and Arizona early next year. We look forward to the next 12 months and can’t wait to show you what we have in store for you!

We are so close to summer! Here at RozeeCheeks Organic Baby Boutique we have been busy preparing for our first summer release, which hits our store June 14th.

Shopping organic baby clothes is no longer boring, with so many unique styles and the unequivocal value you get out of them- it is no wonder many babies are now sporting ethical fashion. We have also loved the incredible feel of our original stocked brand Colored Organics. We were so excited to hear of the new release of summer apparel for 2017. Introduced are some fabulous prints in their signature softness and unique prints. The basic styling of their tank bodysuits and swing dress has been in our store since we opened.
