i promise you pathologic 2 dialogue is way worse than i ever realized. im like, familiarizing myself with it in an intimate way i could not wish on my worst enemy. but characters make comments where they're just actively way dumber than their stated intention of being there. like for example when you get out of the burakh family home and talk to daniil he acts completely ignorant to why he's there even though he has to be there and get in for evidence for saborov. it's like... in pathologic classic some characters will know things prior to you as the audience learning them and thats the intended experience? and in pathologic 2 everybody talks like a dumb baby with no concept of spatial reasoning. they actively forget infomation mid-conversation. i just thought that p2s dialogue was bad because i was comparing it to classic. no. that was very generous of me
