george harrison. it’s the 18th anniversary of your death, and uhm. i just wanted to say like— well duh you can’t hear me but. i love you so goddamn much, you’ve been such an amazing influence on my life and you’ve shaped me into the person i am today. you wanted to spread peace and love through music and just make music for people and i fucking love you for it. i’ve grown up with your music my whole damn life, but it was really that fateful day in sep 2017 when i got into music. really good music. and you led me to it! by doing so i’ve completely changed as a person and i feel i am so much more loving and a better person now because of you and the rest of the boys. you’ve gotten me through rough times, good times and even normal ones. you’ve been with me every step of the way so far— i hope wherever you are, that you are at peace and among many plants and flowers. i hope you’re in your crackerbox palace, heh. ok i’m done with my rant but. i love you man. get your skinny hare krishna ass back to earth rn or i will RIOT thanks. i love u <3

Since y’all only see Godfrey Gao as “the guy who portrayed Magnus Bane”

He was the first ever asian person to be the face of Louis Vuitton

He was one of the most successful Asian models ever

Apparently he and three other models wrote a book in 2009?

He had a huge acting career, he had multiple leading roles in chinese and Taiwanese movies and TV shows

He was nicknamed the “nations [Chinas] husband” and “face of Taiwan/ China” because he was so damn famous all over Asia

He starred in over 40 Movies and TV shows

He’s literally responsible for asians to get actual representation in the western media & defined the asian model industry in the western world

Everyone who has ever worked with him referred to him as a kind, caring and ambitious human being

Those are just a few of his accomplishments.

He’s more than just magnus banes actor, so much more and I hope he rests in peace

Edit: this post is NOT addressing all the people who got to know godfrey trough city of bones / magnus bane. How ever this IS about all the people who dismiss all his other work and only limit him to the character magnus Bane.
