a funny thing about having a Problematic Blorbo is that you'll periodically come across a post along the lines of "um let's not forget that [Blorbo] is a bad person..." listing their various crimes, and if you have a modicum of intellectual honesty you find yourself nodding along and saying yeah it's true... but it's the greyness of their character that makes them so compelling... At the same time though you have a little Saul Goodman in your ear going "your honor in their defense: who cares like omfgggg who caresssssss like come onnnnnn"

Can part of Robert's healing involve being allowed to kiss other people, ALL THE PEOPLE, without feeling guilty about it, please?

Like I understand everyone wants him to want only Aaron but y'all Aaron is married to and on the regular fucking Robert's brother, lol.

He had quite a few ONS while spiraling, 2 boyfriends, and now John since he and Robert divorced. Which I don't begrudge btw! (Well, John but that's because he is an abusive serial killer in the making and Aaron deserves better.)

If the story we are getting is Robert healing, then part of that is letting him be able to care for other people. It's okay to do that. It certainly won't mean he isn't deeply in love with Aaron. We know he will love him forever. It's about letting Robert who has starved himself of human connection as penance for what he did to form those connections with people outside his sister and Aaron.

He needs to know and feel people care about him because he is worthy of that.

This isn't the time because the trauma is too much but when he is healing and ready to, let him date a little even if it is another way to make the Robron reunion happen.

it’s honestly worse for aaron that he’s married such an embarrassing weirdo like the fact he’s a murderer isn’t the worst thing about john the worst thing about john is that he’s a loser

The other thing that made me sad was the fact that even as he was being very understanding about Caleb letting him go, he was still like “but I said I’d work for free anyway for the first couple weeks…I can stay on and see if anything changes”. 😭

He’s just wants to do something he’s good at and feel useful. Get one thing back that sort of makes him feel normal.

He’s so eager to prove himself and not in a cocky entitled way but in a “I know I can do the job if someone just gives me a chance” kind of way.

He’s so eager and earnest right now.
