I look up my hyperfixations and occasionally reblog and like things. And sometimes I even put my own stuff here. Nothing too special... she/her | 20 | introvert | Doctor Who | David Tennant | Mission: Impossible | Marvel | Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. | Taylor Swift | StarKid | Potterhead | Hufflepuff | Mischief Comedy | tend to overshare and always have the feeling that I talk about things that no one cares about

Reblog this if you had to learn cursive writing as a child
If you were ever told or were made to learn cursive writing when you were in grade school. I wanna see how many of you suffered like I did.

I'm in London at the moment once again and of course I'm also going to the theatre.
The first show I saw was Clueless The Musical. And I want to watch it over and over and over again. I saw it on Saturday and I saw it today again. And I wish I could see it again before I return home.
I only watched the movie two weeks ago for the first time (I feel like I'm late with most things) but I was SO happy to see that there is a musical about it in London.
The whole of the show is so spectacular, it puts you in such a great mood (I was quite literally grinning all the way through the show today), I love the characters, I love the actors, the songs are great (I want a cast recording!), everything is amazing.
I don't know enough about West End shows in general to know if there is a time span in which the actors stay in one show, but I really hope that I maybe get the chance to see this cast again. I'm absolute sure that other actors would nail the roles as well but I fell in love with this cast and I want to see them again.
Also Josh.

Keep seeing action movies where the hero is cocky and arrogant and outspoken and everytime he meets a woman or a tech guy they have to prove their worth to him and he wins every time and for some reason, we’re supposed to root for these heroes, even find them attractive.
And then along comes Ethan Hunt, who is kind and gentle even with strangers, who wants to save the whole world but especially his friends, respects the women and tech guys and basically everyone who isn’t some kind of management, is very intelligent; quite often does quite badly in a fight, is always really surprised when his crazy stunt wins and would die for you ten minutes after he met you.
He’s the one we all adore and yet movies keep giving us heroes of the type, not the second.

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning Spoilers
☆☆☆☆ ½
Just some thoughts
WHAT THE HELL!? Luther?
I mean it was predictable that at least one of the team dies and I'm really really glad it isn't Benji, but still. And just like with Ilsa's death (I'm still in denial but even I must admit that it looks like a real death) there wasn't time to mourn it.
And then this thing that Briggs is in reality Jim Phelps' son? My friends and I had to laugh because IT IS SO RANDOM?? And I believe it's never again mentioned so even more random.
I felt the same suffocating feeling as I felt when I watched Titanic during the underwater scenes due to obvious reasons and I was surprised that my friend's hand was still fully existing after the scene (or the whole movie for that matter) because I squeezed it so hard.
Question: how long was Ethan under water unconscious and how long can someone be without oxygen without it causing damage? Because according to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. about 3 minutes. And I guess Ethan was longer than that without oxygen.
The montage of all the previous films at the beginning was so super cool imo and it made me realize what I missed by not having watched part 1-6 on the big screen. That Burj Khalifa scene already was amazing in this montage and that was only a few seconds.
I can't take Mark Gatiss seriously in these movies. I only see Mycroft in him.
The fact that William Donloe not only reappeared but also got a nice ending made me happy. I always felt bad for him in the first movie but knowing this is the life he wants makes everything look better.
Although I still miss Ilsa (may she rest in peace), I like Grace very much. Also I'm very glad they didn't make her and Ethan kiss (even if it looked like they would for a moment after he got out of the ice). That would have been the worst decision ever. But in my opinion she is very likable character and I like her chemistry with Ethan and Benji.
Benji. I was so afraid they would kill you off at the end. When he showed the blood on his hands, I said "NO! Why!?" quite loudly into the theatre, I'm certain the row in front of us heard it. I'm very glad my worst assumption didn't come true.
Also, I found that he was more "the old Benji" in this one than in Dead Reckoning. It felt more like him. But maybe I don't have DR that well in mind anymore (it's been 10 months). But when he lost consciousness and Grace just called "Benji!" sternly and he almost jumped, that's the comedic Benji I know and love (I love you, Benji, always)
We need to rank Ethan's haircuts in this movie worst to best. When he hung from the plane? Why does your hair look like that?? After he pulled the mask off when Benji and he freed Paris? There were more, I just can't remember specific examples.
I will definitely watch again. And maybe I'll write more then.

I'm ready for the film, but not ready yet to wake up from one year and ten months of delusional denial of Ilsa's death
There are 27 days remaining until M:I8 is released.

AGREE, THE CUTEST, BUT YOU CAN'T JUST END IT THERE
Hi, Felice
Thank you for writing every single word. You are the best!
I have two requests, if it's not too much trouble:
I've always been curious about what happened after Jane regained his memory in 'Fugue in Red'. What do you think happened next?
The whole team goes to karaoke, they're a little tipsy, and Jane sings to Lisbon. PLEASE. It could be during their time at the CBI or after they're married. You choose! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
FRIEND!! Aww you make me blush xx
I've taken both prompts, thank you. Here is the second xx No one count the words on this. I know... don't call me out. I'm fragile.
“No. Absolutely not.”
Jane was pouting like a scalded toddler denied candy for dinner. She wasn’t budging – arms crossed, eyes narrowed, every inch of her spelled no.
“But it’s a duet,” he grumbled, like that somehow made it more reasonable.
She was not drunk enough for karaoke. After enduring Rigsby’s soul-murdering rendition of My Heart Will Go On, being the only sober one in the team was starting to feel like corporal punishment.
“Fine.” His sigh puffed up the curls on his forehead – blond swirls that looked like honey mood rings.
Was it weird that this sulky side of him made her want to pinch his cheek and ask what he wanted Santa to bring him for Christmas?
He trotted off toward the playlist and scanned it like it held the secrets of the illuminati. When he looked up, that full-wattage smile hit her square in the chest. Great.
For the next ten minutes, every time she shifted in her seat, he looked over to make sure she wasn’t sneaking out. She half expected that if she tried to go to the bathroom, he’d demand she hold it.
Then it was his turn.
The golden light from the stage made his hair glow like a halo – but the grin he wore, curling slow at the corners, was pure mischief. Nearly devilish.
She recognised the song before he even opened his mouth.
“Saying ‘I love you’ is not the words I want to hear from you…”
His voice wrapped around the melody – smooth like warm milk, mellow and rich. Intimate. Like the song was meant only for her.
His eyes never left hers.
Her face heated, cheeks flushing so fast she could feel the burn.
Blink, Jane. Look away.
He didn’t.
Neither did she.
Heads turned. She could feel it. Everyone in that dimly lit, oak-panelled basement bar knew exactly who he was singing to.
The air thickened and her skin prickled hot. Every breath felt like a match striking the gasoline in her veins.
She stood up. Knocked over a chair then nearly collided with a waitress when she apologised for the chair.
Outside, the air bit into her lungs like she’d sprinted into an ice bath. She bent over, dragging in breaths until the world slowed down. A tear slipped out before she could stop it.
You love a man who doesn’t love you back, it mocked, gleaming like a scarlet letter on her cheek.
“Lisbon?”
She swiped it away quickly, and bit the inside of her lip to stop anything else from escaping. When she turned, he was already there – eyes wide, with worry carved deep across his face.
“Sorry,” she said, voice tempered like a mask. “It was hot in there.”
He didn’t even hesitate, just stepped into her space like it belonged to him. “I sung that for you.”
Any other time, those words might’ve melted her. Might’ve made her laugh or blush or smile like an idiot. But right now, they just proved how sober she was… and how very not sober he was.
“Jane, you’re drunk.”
His lips pressed into a stubborn line. “No, I’m not.”
“You are.”
“Am not.”
“Jane…”
“Teresa.”
They stared. Neither budged.
He blinked first. “Okay… maybe tipsy. Just enough to shut up the voice that keeps telling me I shouldn’t do this.”
Head tilted. “Do what?”
He leaned in and kissed her, soft and warm, like her lips were sculpted just for him, and he’d been holding his breath for years waiting for them to fit together. Just like this.
Oh.
