Here are two townhouses I made for the Yens! One side is for Selena when she gets older and the other for her parents and (future) siblings. They’ve been such a close knit family that I think they’d like a place like this.

The backyard is well lit for night time entertaining and has plenty of space for any activities the children might want to do!

Mizuki: “I’m finally a mother! Little Selena is growing so quickly and she’s the perfect child. As a toddler she mostly loved to sit and babble at us, but as a child she’s more intelligent than I could have ever imagined. She doesn’t seem entirely amused by the idea of being a vampire, but I’m sure she’ll come to love it, in time.”

Selena:“Dear Diary, Today is my birthday, I’m 11! I get to go to Newcrest Middle School now...a whole new set of people. I’m nervous. I’m nervous about a lot of things. Mom told me I’m finally old enough to tell, but because I was born of vampire blood, I will turn on my 18th birthday. Destined to be 18 forever. I’ve been doing a little reading in the Vampire tomes my dad has in the downstairs house, but when he catches me reading them he tells me to go do some chores or tend the garden. He says I shouldn’t worry about all this reading because they can teach me everything I need to know. I guess I believe him. He is my dad after all, why would he lie to me? “

Mizuki: “Today’s the day. I’m finally done with this pregnancy. Lorne’s been so excited he can’t contain the smiles every time he sees my belly. He even sings to her when he thinks I’m sleeping. I just can’t wait to meet her. One day she’s going to be a great vampire just like her father...and maybe a painter like me ;D”

Lorne: “I made an amazing resting place in the basement for Mizuki and I to sleep during the day. When I showed her this she agreed to let me turn her; she even seemed excited. A few days after she turned we had our real honeymoon...and a few days after that (MUCH) to our surprise Mizuki started getting sick. I took her to Vlad and with wide eyes he said ‘She’s pregnant, son.’ I didn’t think it was possible, I’d already accepted that  I wouldn’t have children, but now I’ll have heirs to carry on the long Yen family legacy! I’m going to name her Selena.”

*(Sorry if these are getting long winded, but I’m getting really into their story :p)

Lorne: “Mizuki and I have been dating for just about 6 months and she came over for an anniversary dinner, little did she know, I’d be asking her to marry me! She said yes and we took a little while to plan, but we invited my parents and surprising to me they actually came! My dad even kept the fighting to a minimum, though he did argue quite a lot with Mizuki’s mom...but whatever. The wedding was beautiful and the moon made everything look even more romantic. Tonight I’m going to ask her to be mine for eternity. I want to turn her and really spend forever together.”

Lorne:”The guys at work threw a party for my promotion the other night. One of the nurses, Mikuzi was there and we hit it off like I couldn’t believe. She’s smart, funny, an amazing nurse, and she’s a painter! I kissed her at the party and we made a date for the next night after work. She came over early and caught me...not quite so human. Instead of running like I figured she would she seemed...interested. Like, she wanted to know everything about what I was. She looked so beautiful out of scrubs...I told her everything.”

Space Blanket Toddler Beds

I’ve made a toddler version of the single bed that came with the City Life Expansion. For your more stylish toddlers I guess. ^_^  

Toddler conversion of CL “Space Blanket” single bed. Comes in the original swatches.

Separated “Space Blanket” toddler bed frame recolored in Poppet’s True Romance colors.

Everything is Base Game compatible.

Extra: I’ve created my own separated toddler mattress which can be used as a recolor base. You just place it in Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods and choose “Create 3D mesh” when creating new toddler mattress recolors. I’ve removed the doubles of this version and it will also work well with my Rustic Dream bed without any clipping. The mattress comes in a white base texture and I’ve included a .psd for easy recoloring. Have fun with it!

Lorne: “I got promoted to ‘medical assistant’ at work and you’ll never guess who came into the hospital. Harvey, my dad. I worked a little vampire voodoo on him and had him talking to himself in a corner for hours. The doctor even had him transfered up to the psyche ward. He’ll be out of my life for a long time. I finally feel like my mother is safe.”

Lorne: “I’ve figured it out...I can’t believe it myself, but it’s got to be true. I’m a vampire...Vlad turned me and now I’m stuck like this. He did tell me I can get blood from sources other than human, but on my first night I couldn’t control myself and almost killed a woman in the town square. I hope I can learn to live with this. I’m going to do as much research as I can. I refuse to kill anyone else. If I do, eternity will be unbearable.”

Lorne: “I finally got Mom and I out of that house and away from Dad...We moved to a small town called ‘Forgotten Hollow’. The neighbors have been very welcoming...in fact Vlad invited me over to his house on our first night there. He has ‘interesting’ ways of saying hello. (Pictured below) I tried not to think too much about it, but it’s made me feel really...funny.

Harley: “Much to my chagrin...I love the little guy. We’ve made the house a bit nicer for him. I don’t want him to grow up like I did.”

Lorne: “I don’t wanna be like Dad...ever! He is forcing his evil ways on me. I don’t understand why Mom let’s him act like this. I guess we need the money. I’m gonna get us away from him. And make real money! The right and legal way!”

Harley: “Well, shit. He knocked me up and I Can’t afford an OB-GYN...So I guess we’re doing this. Hopefully WE can get our shit together enough to raise the little guy...I’m gonna name him Lorne.”

He thinks we’re a ‘perfect match’ but all I see is a guy with a job and a house (two things I happen to not have) and let’s be honest, sleeping on park benches gets old fast.
