Is there any part of ZR canon that is not canon for your runner 5?

This was a hard one really. I want to say no because when something happens I'm just like 'cool' and carry on, incorporating it into their story. If I feel my Five would react differently, I just incorporate those moments into the parts in between audio clips. But ultimately - even though I describe Five as an OC since I've been able to project whatever I want onto them, I do always keep in mind that they're not actually my character. It's not my story.

So, as an example, of how I fill in the gaps during the silence, S3M10 - "the man who sold the world".

So Simon has taken Five. He's saved them from the Dedlocks and lead Five through the forest of limbs. He's done his "do you believe in forgiveness" speech and every part of me ached for him then - because truly he has his regrets. He is a very complex character and I always think of Simon as the other side of the coin to Five. Their stories very easily could have been the same.

Then, Simon takes Five to his 'lair' and hands over his notes on Van Ark. The mission ends with the following:

"Oh, take it, for God’s sake. Take it and go! [calmly] Only please, just one favor. Tell them you found it yourself. Don’t tell them about me. Let Jenny, let everyone think that I’m dead. After all, I should be. Now go. Go!"

After listening to all that, after hearing his regrets, my Five wouldn't have just left. Which works well as that's how the mission ends. They stay. They don't say much. But they don't immediately run off. Simon was once their best friend, and they're hurting, and so is he, and they can't do anything to fix it. But they stay and at the very least give him a hug, a squeeze of the hand, something before they go. They haven't forgiven nor forgot, but for me that headcanon is what leads to them starting the route to forgiveness. They don't race off as fast as they can. They linger. They show him the kindness he doesn't think he deserves.

So I've not really changed anything in canon, it all still plays out how it does, but I've considered Five's emotions during this and I've added things in the silence. My Five doesn't do every mission as stoically as it seems.

1. Enbiessss (technically Five being Enby is what made me realise I was lmaooo)

2. We would both die and/or kill for Simon istfg

3. Sam stepping out of Abel fills us both with dread

Different:

1. They're mute and a bit of a wallflower

2. Five has incredible self-discipline whilst I'm can't ever resist a ✨ little treat ✨ whether that's a book or food or just anything really

3. Five has survived the apocalypse whereas I'd immediately die after facing 0.2% of the bullshit they've been through

What ZR episode / storyline was the most fun to run to? (Like running "Five loses their mind / Moonchild" episodes at night, wonderfully creepy)

The Glass Protocol (S7M32) is especially fun - I really enjoy revisiting that (and listening to it in pitch black as it really ADDS to the horror)

But also the S3M47 (Comfortably Numb) has a special place in my heart. It's the 'I'll always come for you Five' that just GETS me and solidified my love for that specific character

What’s your favorite form of exercise? (For me running is 2nd place- I used to do super amateur parkour and it was the best thing ever. Running around like a kid! Permission to climb everything and then jump off!)

Uhhhh so I don't think I have a favourite, I just go where the mood takes me. Running is definitely up there, but I played roller derby from the years 2013-2019ish, and whilst I probably wouldn't join a team again I do love skating.

I've also climbed forrrrrr 20 or so years on and off 🧓 On my days off I'll go for a hike or end up paddle boarding with the fam or whatever ?

This Pride Month, I’m not feeling very festive. I’m fucking furious. I’m tired. I’m sick to death of watching everything I love get torn apart by bigots, transphobes, and racists. And yet all I see right now online is the usual ‘uwu happy pride month! Love is love!’ posts ???
Trans people are dying. The support networks they depend on are being ripped away. The progression of LGBTQIA+ rights in the UK haven’t just come to a halt, they’ve gone backwards. We’ve dropped from number one in Europe for LGBTQIA+ friendliness to 22nd.
All this bathroom bullshit is not only oppressing trans people, but everyone.

And people are actively choosing not to fight for trans rights and lives because of what? Some fucking fictional book?
I don’t give a damn if Harry Potter was your childhood. I had the merch. I queued for midnight showings. I bought the books on release day and read nothing else for years. It was my childhood too - and I ditched it the second I realized how disgusting JK Rowling really is. That’s how easy it is.

Grow the fuck up and actually support your trans and non-binary siblings instead of making shitty excuses to do nothing. There’s no such thing as an ‘ethical fan’ and I’m not interested in debating it.

Do better. Silence in the face of injustice is compliance.
