Piper getting mad at Jason and Leo for being all “should we save nico? It could be a trap?” makes a lot of sense narratively.

(They really only urged caution in saving Nico. No one ever suggested that they leave him to die. Hazel was just overwhelmed and ‘caution’ made her think they didn’t want to rescue him)

Piper went through something similar six months before this scene. Her dad was taken by giants. It was a clear trap. She desperately wanted to save her dad. It was risky, but at that time saving her family meant everything to her. In that moment, she relates to Hazel.

Its also why she tells Frank ‘no’ when he wants to go comfort Hazel. She knows what Hazel is going through. She volunteers herself to go talk to hazel. And Frank, despite being one of the most stubborn characters, agrees. (I don’t think piper used charmspeak. It was not at all mentioned nor implied). Piper is the one to comfort Hazel because she is the only one who understands what hazel is going through.

bringing this back because people are still upset about Walker and Leah being Percy and Annabeth because they apparently look like other characters ... I can't understand how obsessed you've got to be with these actors just because they don't look like how you imagined your Percabeth ... it's frustrating, really, because reminder! they are children. Not liking the show is perfectly fine, however, disrespecting and or insulting the actors is a whole different thing. Put that energy on Rick if you're really THAT upset 😭

Nico, who since Bianca had no one to take care of him, who had to watch his own back constantly, who had to feel alone, to feel worthless, for years and years. And then came Will, someone who went to hell for him, someone who unlocked hidden parts of himself for him, someone whom he knows would take care of him no matter what. Will is someone Nico knows he can trust to hold and protect him when he needs him. And that’s just really important and beautiful to me😞
