try meditation- i have personally been meaning to start doing this but apps like pacifica & headspace are easy ways to work meditation into a easy day. you can also check out these tips on how to meditate + this website, headspace, which is run by a clinical meditation consultant
yoga- i do yoga on breaks//weekends and even though i’m ridiculously unflexible it’s still really helpful (tips for beginners)
use the four a’s- avoid, alter, accept, adapt
a 90 second relaxation exercise
do nothing for two minutes
listen to music-apps//websites like 8tracks, spotify, apple music, pandora, etc. have dozens of options for chill music!! other soothing stuff to listen to: coffitivity, infinite storm, ambient mixer
stress analyst- guides you through a process of analysing away your stress
sleep- just do it, your body will thank you. (sleep easy, bedtime calculator, healthy sleeping tips)
how i calm myself
lush!!- my!! favorite!! omg!! pls buy their stuff they are fighting animal testing and are totally vegetarian and their products are amazing :)
listening to music- you can find great playlists on spotify and 8tracks that are super chill and always manage to calm me down
if you’re like me & you get super stressed about time management/schedules, keep a bullet journal or a planner and keep track of EVERYTHING
find your happy place :) for me, it’s sitting on my bed with fuzzy socks, a blanket, a super calming playlist, & a candle burning (i get my candles from bath and bodyworks bc they have sales all of the time)
pick one day a week and designate it as your “me” day. it’s usually friday or monday for me, but i use it to do what i want to do, like catching up on my favorite tv shows and taking super long baths and reading :)

If you are an intense athlete 1500 won't cut it. You need at least 2000 to sustain weight. Maybe I'm wrong and it could be the situation but if you eat a little more you could maintain your weight and also feel better. I'm not staying count everything to make sure you have 2000 but if you are losing weight as a runner that is already underweight that could hurt your body over time. Anyways, hope this didn't sound too aggressive I have had so many of my close friends who are underweight not eat enough without realizing it and end up with stress fractures and other issues as a result.
I'm a little bit underweight and I am a teenage girl runner. I just weighted myself this morning and this week I have been having days eating more than normal. I lost more weight when I weighted myself this morning which is strange. Does this mean I'm not eating enough? I'm eating about 1500-2000 calories and I am an intense athlete
How often do you weigh yourself? Weight gain or loss over a period of days or 1-2 weeks does not indicate fat gain or loss. It could be water retention, how much food is in your system, if you’ve recently gone to the bathroom, etc. Weighing yourself is unreliable. Go by how you look and feel, and how you fit in your clothes
