hawthorne headcannons - averyxjameson

part 1 - (hairstyles)

avery never used to have to worry about her hair before inheriting, because she didn't care, so she ALWAYS had it up in a ponytail.

now that she has to care about her physical appearance, she learns that she absolutely sucks at doing/brushing her own hair. so she always used to need hairstylists around, even if she was just going out on an ordinary day.

until jameson and avery get into a fight, he didn't really notice her struggle until she sat at her vanity and started agressively brushing her hair in an attempt to get rid of the knots (while yelling at him, obviously stressed and overworked)

he then gently takes the brush out of her hands and starts slowly brushing her hair, working out the knots while whispering reassuring sentiments to her.

from then on he always does her hair when she's going out for semiformal/casual events (because i have no doubt that in another life, jameson would be a hairstylist or f1 driver.)

he's insanely good at it and it works for both of them, libby, lyra and max were shocked when they asked her how she did her hair and she told them jameson did it for her.

her hairstylists gain trust in his abilities and allow him to do her hair for the already mentioned situations.

they use the time he's doing her hair to communicate and talk about heavy things.

i wrote one fic and officially have writers block. one. singular. fic. and it sucked the life (+ all my creativity, which was barely there in the first place) out of me, i mean come on.
