Tyyyyyyy yay! Also I never care how long your tags are and often if someone has a lot to say it makes me happy! The block thingy is the Extraterrestrial Patron Entity, or Portal Warden! She studies humans and whatnot.

The guys in the back are a species from the planet Rosa 224D. They're harmless omnivores that are also bulky and have large legs to run away from predators! I don't have names for them yet but something like "feather-flanked rockrun" probably works.

Secondly I have made a chart for this

I neglected to mention that watching Comet's cartoons will slowly kill you. Personally I'd pick Comet just cause even though he slowly kills you he also has no possible ulterior motives (at least not consciously) and is human psychologically.

I'd rather die living with a pathetic butterfly man than living the rest of my life in fear that a completely inhuman existential horror in a cutesy physical form might use me for something terrible later.

Also I know the Portal Warden has portals but the portals also do inexplicable things to your mind and body.

@fifthmiracleprayer Ty a lot! This little guy's actually a predecessor to the most recent design of Comet! He's much less comforting design-wise but that's for good reason, and I might use the original design soon anyways!

The basic premise for his story is that the world is overrun by an anomalous apocalypse. A new American state is founded in the chaos, named "The Butterfly State". Animated PSAs are made in the state (which is a small town) that teach the new generation how to deal with the post-apocalyptic world they live in and how to serve the state. Comet here is the main mascot! He slowly gains consciousness as each PSA is made and played to the Butterfly State children.

I thought animation would go really well with disturbing analog media so that's why I made the concept! Here's some art:
