Teaser pt.1: Book three of The Agency series.
The door closed abruptly behind Akira, reflecting his own oversight in finding himself in this situation. Once the light was extinguished, it took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the changed illumination. He took a brief moment to orient himself, though he never fully understood his whereabouts. The environment resembled an abandoned hospital, with a disconcerting atmosphere. One moment, he was in the organization’s lobby; the next, he found himself confined in what appeared to be a basement. Akira softly exhaled, feeling it was simply his misfortune. At this point, he had two options: wait for someone to realize he was missing or explore his surroundings. He chose to explore, moving cautiously to avoid making noise on the tiled floor, mindful of attracting any potential wildlife or intruders. The dim lighting made visibility difficult, so he reached for his flashlight on his belt and activated it for a clearer view. What greeted him were long, empty, and unclean hallways. The abundance of corridors was unsettling, but at least he was making some progress in understanding where he was.
Akira carefully surveyed his surroundings as he moved through the hallway. He began to notice room numbers beside the doorframes; all doors were closed. Driven by curiosity, he briefly peeked through one of the windows, shining his flashlight inside. His eyes widened upon seeing the contents: one room contained bodies, another had bodies that had been disemboweled, and a third was filled with organs.
He wondered if he had been confined within the harvesting facility. His breathing quickened as he decided to continue his inspection, trying to suppress the unsettling sight before him. Throughout his exploration of the underground levels, he observed areas where his communication signals would abruptly cut out, prompting him to feel a sense of unease each time. This provided some clarity on the situation—he began to understand the nature of the site, at least to some extent.
He reached the main lobbies of these facilities, noticing signage and labels that confirmed his initial assumption: these sites were not just operated externally but also underground. The situation grew more troubling with each turn he took, as dizziness set in and the darkness intensified his paranoia. Nearly every room was pitch black; some had faint flickering lights that only heightened his anxiety. Reflecting on his career, he wondered why he had chosen to become a police officer.
Each time Akira checked his watch, another hour or two seemed to pass—possibly even more, indicating he was likely several levels underground. Eventually, he arrived at a room containing a television and a chair. He paused briefly at the doorway, then entered quietly and gently closed the door behind him, carefully inspecting the space. The room was completely empty aside from some television cords, a single chair, and a cassette tape on the floor. He crouched down and picked up the cassette, noting that it was unlabelled. He observed that the television appeared to accept tapes, so he carefully inserted the cassette and then seated himself in the chair.
“Hello, my name is Mio Mhari. I'm the original head of the Mhari Organization, If you're seeing this, you must be incredibly lost. You also must be trapped underground, which for you, I send you my sincerest apologies for your situation. Although, rest assured my friend. The current room you're in must be room 128, you're on the fourth layer out of ten. Why dontcha you just go on inside and tap one of our wonderful nurses on the shoulder politely, the ladies would be more than willing to help you if you're lost. If your situation is unable to be handled by the nurses, we have trustworthy security who's job is to make sure you stay here is as safe as possible.”
Mio paused, then he laughed. Akira's eyes narrowed at the Tv screen.
“Okay, okay, I apologize for that. In such, serious situation. Now let's be honest, you're not supposed to be here. You're not supposed to be sitting down in that room, nor are you supposed to be underground. This is the single most high security, high clearance of the entire building. If someone finds you down there, who knows what would happen to you? In fact, the second you put this cassette into the TV...set off an alarm. So, if you aren't alone. They know where you are.” the screen showed a clear, cruel grin that Mio had on his face. “If I were in your position, either.. Well, stay there. And keep the door shut. Or.. Start running.”

Another POV of Nolan AKA Nelson.
The lucky animals are the ones who get stunned before the butcher, they say. Those animals. Those... Pathetic... Little... Animals. I'd only do that if they're lucky enough, if I took a specific liking to this person I'd give them a little shot to stun their body. Put them at their last rest before I drilled in their justice and karma,
“The fuck you looking at?”
The last words my next chosen animal said ever so aggressively in that bathroom, as I pulled out the tranquilizer. He's done this too many times to be sorry, really, I'm unsympathetic. This world doesn't need me to balance his books. He soon awoke on a table, nude, but strapped down against the operation table because I hate it when they squirm. The worst thing about putting together a missing puzzle, is finding there were missing pieces. I will solve it. Justice will be brought.
“No..no you don't get it, i-i swear...”
“Swear what?”
“It was me, only it wasn't just me. It was the booze too, it just... Takes over. Yknow?”
Hilarious, here comes the fun part. The drilling.

POV Sneak Peak.
“This...This is so fucked up, man. Going after a cops family.” Agent Austyn Rhodes mumbled, As Agent Nolan Schmidt held a camera and used it's flash to take good high quality photos of the blood splatters, “That's why we're here.” Nolan smirked up at him, this weirded Austyn out. “still fucked up...”
I feel like a child at his own surprise party, this was exciting. So much so, I almost happily skipped over to more evidence of the victims bodily fluid, blood. There are two hundred and six bones in the human body, but this killer gave us the exact parts we needed to identify the body. Another beautiful Californian day, mulitated bodies and a chance of rain at about five p.m. sharp. But these people, they won't find anything. Not even a small pin in the middle of a large room, as soon as we returns to The HQ of The Agency people began tossing names around as suspects, this was a game. Not for them but for me.
‘Not guilty...’
I was watching in the courtroom, the suspects played the sympathy card. Never fly exactly by me so easily as the judge cleared him as not guilty, see how easy it is to get away with murder here?
“So, the call shows us a good image of her running from the shooter... She ran towards the backdoor,” Agent Akira Spades tried to finish his short paragraph, before being interrupted.
“Hey, check this out Akira.”
Nolan simply pointed out how the victim barley made it to the back door, the blood left on the tile in front of them wasn't her blood.
“Hmm.. Meet our Shooter.”
⠀ — ⠀—⠀—⠀—⠀—⠀
Kind of complicated to explain this, the POV being shown is of “Agent Nolan Schmidt” which is why his name is in bold in the first lines.
@erynshi AKIRA SHORT MENTION!

I think I'll do a proper introduction on Nelson soon enough, although as I work on that I'll post bits of details of him like I have been.
There's so much more characters I definitely need to put some information down here because they're important to the storyline.
But then again I've only properly detailed, described, and given off definitions to one book which is book two. The first book's was half assed honestly, I'll redo it.
Maybe I'll do book three next.

Reblogging because I'm proud of this
Book Two: S. Foundation.
Located in California, United States, a foundational support building is held for typically troubled youth. The foundation is owned and ran by a young man by the name of Kafka Spades.
Kafka embodies a morally complex character who symbolizes authority and safeguarding. Throughout history, serpents have been linked to ancient rituals and carry dual connotations of both beneficence and malevolence. In this context, Kafka can be seen as an accurate representation of such symbolism. I encourage ongoing discussion and critical analysis of his actions to better understand his true motivations and alignment. Kafka is a multifaceted individual, recognized as an advocate for those experiencing hardship. Despite his reserved demeanor, his behavior suggests a profound, if sometimes unconventional, sense of protection for those in need. His cautious and measured approach serves to ensure his own safety and that of “his children” in a challenging environment. Kafka demonstrates qualities of a dedicated and disciplined father, balancing firmness with care.
The S. Foundation operates as a supportive organization similar to an orphanage, although its approach differs from traditional models. It functions as an opportunity for a second chance at life, often serving as a preferable alternative to juvenile detention centers or incarceration for many at-risk youth. The youth served by the foundation often come from challenging backgrounds, including families experiencing abuse, homelessness, food insecurity, mental health struggles, past trauma related to the justice system, and other difficulties. The foundation provides a nurturing environment that functions as a second home, offering education, employment training, financial support, and other resources. There are typically two to three pathways for a child to access the programs offered by the foundation.
1.) Parents and or guardians have to sign over their rights to Kafka.
2.) The child/teenager doesn't have a home or family originally, they're troubled but have no where else to go.
3.) Like previously stated, it's an option instead of a juvenile detention center.
Children are occasionally relinquished by their parents for various reasons. In some cases, parents may feel ill-equipped to care for their child due to personal or financial difficulties, while in others, there may be a lack of emotional attachment. For some families, placing a child with Kafka becomes an option when they are unable or unwilling to parent. Once parental rights are legally transferred to Kafka through signing, these rights cannot be reinstated unless a court proceedings occur. The following are some of the reasons why Kafka has obtained custody and legal rights over these children:
1.) They're troubled, and mentally unwell.
2.) Parents or Guardian does not want the child.
3.) The child is “different”, meaning, either does not have the same beliefs as the Guardian - parent. Or, has different qualities compared to the family. Such as, mental illness, health problems, apart of any religion or not apart of any religion, apart of the LGBTQ+ community, behavior problems, legal problems e.t.c.
4.) Parent or Guardian has given up on the child.
There are many more possibilities, these are just small examples!
Next is, The Foundation Officers.
These officers function similarly to personnel in other justice system facilities, such as detention centers or correctional institutions. However, their roles are specialized; they often work directly with children to establish trust and build emotional connections. Their goal is not manipulation but to provide guidance and support. Children arriving at the foundation may exhibit behaviors such as being reserved, frightened, or aggressive. These officers are committed to serving and protecting the children in their care. They do not carry firearms; instead, they typically use crossbows and arrows, which are strictly not used on the children.
The arrows may be equipped with various components, such as tranquilizers, standard arrow tips, and other attachments. They are consistently maintained in a sharpened and optimal condition.
The uniforms and equipment vary among the personnel. In addition to crossbows, they carry standard law enforcement gear such as handcuffs. Some individuals are also equipped with sedation syringes for emergency situations, which are occasionally used on the children.

At this point, I believe the vote on another character's lore I should drop next is pretty clear. Therefore, I will do so!
Theophil Forscythe
Theophil is a former agent of The Agency. He is a highly intelligent individual who previously transferred from one team within the organization due to experiences of discrimination and harassment. He is a fully licensed law enforcement officer, having graduated from police academy, earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and completed his master's degree.
Subsequently, he relocated to the United Kingdom to pursue employment opportunities. Despite his qualifications, he initially faced challenges in securing a position that met his expectations. Eventually, he was approached by an individual with an intimidating presence, who offered him a position as a guard within his organization, extending a welcoming and supportive introduction.
The individual that welcomed him with open arms is a man who's name is Mio Mhari, a wealthy man with a large international business extending throughout Europe and Asia. (Shortly extending to North America.) It was a suspicious opportunity, although Mio seemed delighted to have such an experienced man on his staff team.
This is where his story begins.
Characteristics
Theophil Forscythe is a heavy Russian man born and raised in Russia, Moscow, to a single mother and several sisters, as the only son of the family his job was being the man of the house. His mother had high Expectations of him, especially with education and job forces. She wanted her only son to get a well paying job, and make her proud. As much as she was a strict mother, she was a loving and supportive one.
Forscythe completed upper secondary school, (which is basically high school.) To which he graduated in eleventh grade. Once graduated, he had decided to go into police academy. He was encouraged to join Moscow's, but his interest peaked more looking at the United States. His mother was hesitant, but shortly agreed.
I haven't exactly gathered personal details of him just yet, although I have how he dresses pretty noted and I like where it's going. His hair color? I'm unsure really.
With facial, Theophil is actually blind. In the organization offered by Mio Mhari, his eyes got ripped out their sockets by him and sold on the back market. Therefore, Theophil mainly wears a blindfold around his face as it's awkward without, after this traumatic experience he gets more eerie and actually quite villainous. He has pale soft skin, and is often silent amongst others.
He's usually located down where the harvesting happens, in the buildings they're typically several floors under the main lobby. These can be described as harvesting floors, outside the buildings harvesting can happen within any location. Those are deemed the camps. Theophil on the other hand roams the halls of the harvesting floors, he envies those who have eyes and rips them out for himself even if he can't necessarily use them for anything.
Outfit References

I will surely update this as I go

I kind of have specific images for the looks of Nelson Schanz, it's hard to explain what I entirely imagine of him. Although, luckily, I've found good references and images for his character.
Faceclaim: John Supnik.

He gives off such a messy hair vibe, dare I say mullet—I'm unsure how to exactly explain the image I have going on like I previously mentioned. But the faceclaims I have here are PERFECT examples for him. His hair is very obviously dark, maybe a dark brown. Did I ever mention he's heavy German? :)
Weapon: Double Crossbows.

Nelson uses crossbows for his hunts and chases. They typically can hold forms of tranquilizer, but mostly when he's on a hunt he uses poison. He has a mix of many! The reason he holds crossbows is because in book two, S. Foundation. Where he as well lives a double life, as a foundation officer (which he's known as Nelson.) for Kafka Spades. Their officers uses crossbows and arrows instead of bullets and pistols. (I'm deciding on dropping description about S. Foundation soon, so this makes more sense!)
The type of Poison will be shortly researched and updated! Either that or I lowkey make up something.

Okay Mavros Mhari, I see you! Got ourselves a snazzy organ harvester.
I really need to continue designing his character more, his looks are a lot more complicated than I can find good outfitclaims/faceclaims on. Although, I try my best.
He kind of looks like a divorced dad when I put it this way, he's very married though. This is just how I imagine him when he's much older!

This would be how I imagine him as a teenager, probably late teens. Climbing bridges and running from cops, he was devious as a teenager.

I'm wondering how and why I went from debating on what to write a book series about, to automatically thinking murderous cops. It's practically cops and robbers in a nutshell, then again it wouldn't necessarily be ‘The Agency’ if it weren't FOR murderous cops.
I've come to realize I actually never posted or have spoken about the point of The Agency, which must be confusing to see me post about an FBI Agent who's a serial killer and enjoys chasing teenagers. (Brielle mention. @erynshi) So, in that case I'll attempt at explaining the books. Points, why, where and how.
Let's get started!
Book one: The Agency.
Located in California, United States, this facility houses multiple floors dedicated to various specialized teams. These teams are organized by department, with FBI agents serving at the federal level and detectives operating at the local level. FBI agents typically handle more complex and high-risk cases, such as kidnapping and major homicides, whereas detectives focus on less severe criminal cases, including specific types of homicide. This structure reflects the differing scope and responsibilities of these roles. A team of six professionals, primarily focused on homicide investigations, is based at thislocation. The governance of The Agency is experiencing significant challenges, leading to concerns about increasing inefficiencies and a decline in the effectiveness of its justice system. Decisions made on behalf of citizens appear to be unnecessarily interventionist, and the judicial processes do not always achieve satisfactory outcomes. Consequently, severe cases such as homicide, sexual assault, and other serious offenses are not consistently resolved effectively. This has led to public dissatisfaction with the justice system, with many perceiving that justice is not sufficiently upheld, thereby impacting the overall safety and well-being of society.
This can lead to youth becoming severely troubled. Which, leads us into book two.
This probably makes absolutely zero sense, I typed this out around 1:50 - 2:13 A.M.

I actually really wanted to use Nelson as a reference much before Nick told me to, as well Argent & Divan!

@erynshi my enslaved artist daughter, drawing me Nelson Schanz. 👅 (who is also my co-writer!)
— Nelson’s ways of “getting away with it”.

The Agency has some messed up people within it, don't get me started on book three which holds organ harvesting. (Might be my favorite book of the series.) I'm actually enjoying the layout of posting on this app, why is it so easy to customize lol. Now I need to dig up lore off of Discord to note here, may rewrite. (Eryn’s favorite word.)
Also hello to Nick’s cult of Unwind fans!
