I’m often so curious as to why the music of Oneohtrix Point Never has the effect on me it does, as well as how consistent the effect is for me. It feels like returning home on some level, like there’s a mutual understanding that I’ve never really experienced so powerfully from any other art before. It feels like meeting someone that I don’t have to introduce or explain myself to at all; they just somehow intrinsically and seemingly telepathically understand me.
