Another MC done! I blame Cas for this one. She just had to send me links to Viatica and Cantata by @fir-fireweed. I have become obsessed! Especially with Cantata. I cannot wait to see where the story goes.

This was the MC I created. Aqua, now known as Eleni. While I love foxes, I could not pass up the option to have a pet ferret, Minno. Obviously water focused. She’s another sunshine character. Putting on the happy face, moving forward, to bury her own heartbreak. Besties with Evie. She loves the family that took her in. However, she has refused to forget where she came from. Refuses to forget her people and the music.

Anyways, if you haven’t checked out the IFs you should! Viatica is actually complete! I need more people to talk brainrot with because the stories are so good.

Sorry for double posting but APPARENTLY those commission scammers have showed up on Tumblr at least for the first time for me.

For those who don’t know what I am talking about, there were/are commission scams going on in Instagram and even places like Artstation where people would pretend to be interested in your work and try to commission a pet or portrait for the sake of trying to get your bank details. Here’s how to (somewhat) sniff them out:

1- They don’t seem to be an average customer/ person that would be involved in your fandom, or has a blank template for an account or don’t even follow you.

2- They ask you to draw a portrait or a pet picture either for themselves or their children/family.

3- They promise to overpay you (in the hundreds) and do not listen to you even if you firmly state the price is cheaper.

4- They are constantly asking for your email name, or private details regarding things like banking details or passwords or other private information others should not know.

5- They try and over reassure you they mean no harm, try to guilt you into giving them the info, or become aggressive over you not giving them what they want.

What should you do if you come across one of these guys? My best advice is to block and report. Sadly these people jump account to account so there isn’t really much to do other than spread this info to prevent artists from being scammed.

Finished drawing Vicente Aloi and damn, I'm so proud of it! Cantata got me wanting to draw all of the beautiful characters in it. Perfect excuse to improve my skill hehe 😂 This is what i imagine my mc first meeting with Vicente looks like in my head. That scene really stuck to me 😚

A MESSAGE TO THE INTERACTIVE FICTION COMMUNITY

I shouldn’t have to say this, but apparently, some of y’all need a wake-up call:

STOP HARASSING AUTHORS. Stop badgering them, stop guilt-tripping them, and for the love of god, stop sexually harassing them.

Authors in this community are putting blood, sweat, and soul into writing free games and stories — for you. They don’t owe you updates. They don’t owe you romance routes. They don’t owe you your weird little fantasies. They are not your personal writing service.

Some of you are not just entitled — you’re predatory. If you're sending inappropriate messages to authors, making creepy comments about characters or romance options, or trying to blur boundaries for your own gratification? That’s not “flirting.” That’s not “engaging with the story.” That’s harassment.

If someone tells you a boundary — respect it. If they don’t update for a while — that’s their right. If they don’t write your favorite RO the way you want — tough. They are not here to cater to your every whim. They are here because they love stories. Don’t make them regret sharing them.

This behavior isn’t just “annoying.” It’s driving talented, kind, and brilliant creators out of the community. So if you’ve been part of the problem, take a step back and ask yourself what kind of fan you actually want to be — because right now, some of you are acting like the exact reason creators lock their inboxes, go on hiatus, or quit entirely.

Writers are not your therapists, your kink dispensers, or your emotional punching bags. They’re people. Treat them like it.

And if that’s too hard? Get out. We won’t miss you.

I was stretching my creaky back after work and was about to end the day when i noticed @fir-fireweed fed us a lil sneak peak of upcoming chapter 3 for Cantata. I read that lil snippets of words and my brain immediately went 'movie mode'. The urge to paste that battle scene onto a canvas was A MUST! The Flash would be proud of me when i jumped into shower and finished house chores at the speed of light before settling down to draw. I'm not interested in Corinne but i do love the way Fir wrote her. The fluidity of how Fir created the battle scene was amazing. I can see how smoothly they flow in my head. Like frame-by-frame animation, hehehehe. Anyway- enough blabbing. Here's Corinne being a queen that she is. But we all know who the real queen behind it all HEHE ❤️ p/s: I got a tad bit lazy on the coloring. Can you tell? HAHA

Did i create a tumblr account just to post fanart for @fir-fireweed IF Cantata? Yes, yes i did 😌 I stumbled upon Cantata and fell in love with the artwork at first. Then I scroll down the comment and discovered your other work, Viatica. Made me weep and ugly sobbing at 2 am. Thanks Fir 😂 After finishing Viatica, i finally dipped my toes into Cantata, and damn! You deliver another banger yet again! I had my eyes on Vicente at first but Bayram swoops in and stole my heart. I always had a thing with flirty men ehehehehehehe 😍 So, here's Bayram in that scene in ch2 (i think) where he was checking out mc (he/him) at the dock HEHEHEHHE Keep up the good work Fir! Can't wait for the next chapter!
