“i-” yuan hesitated, unsure of what to say to the other woman’s bold demeanor. “i actually just didn’t want to disturb you. but there’s no other space, so if you don’t mind?” she eventually replied quietly.
“come on, now, i won’t bite,” himari said, biting back a smile as she saw the person hesitating to sit next to her. “i only play a violent psychopath on television. i promise you, i’m very nice out of the ring.”

rvkyungmi:
“i know, i know. i’ll talk to him when he picks me up for my schedule later. i just really hate causing trouble for everyone. especially because like…i know that siren isn’t rich. why waste money when there’s a perfectly fine top right here?”
yuan simply stared at the other girl, despairing. “kyungmi, i swear to god, do you want me to put my head through the wall? it’s not an inconvenience. siren may not be that rich, but at this point i will pay you to get you to relax and let us change it.” she was so fond of her friend, but honest to god, sometimes she was even more shy about certain things than yuan, which was honestly saying something.
#with kyungmi 1.#we get no gif bc i still have not made more#but the tone of this she's not angry she's just like. loves u in complete exhasperation

rvkyungmi:
kyungmi sighed– well, as much as she could without being worried she’d pop a zipper or something. “then …. we should probably get someone to order a new one,” she finally gave in, playing with her necklace. “the last thing i want is for like… a tiddie to accidentally pop out on mcountdown or something.”
the other woman let out a quiet chuckle, kyungmi’s comment finally breaking her stern expression. “no, that’s definitely not what we want,” she said, unable to hide her smile. it would be terrible if such a thing did occur, but the way her friend had said it was so funny. “you should talk to your manager about making sure it doesn’t happen again, i’ll let the styling department know that this isn’t going to work.”

rvkyungmi:
“hey, at least the shoes are fine! you’ve seen some of the other shoes i’ve been put in before– honestly, those were always the worst part,” kyungmi answered, trying to be optimistic (it was just her nature). “i don’t particularly like how tight things make me look like i’m spilling out. that does make me a little self conscious, i guess. i just don’t want to cause trouble for anyone…. especially if it was an accident.”
“many stylists in the industry have obviously never danced, yes,” yuan commiserated, remembering some of the skyscraper heels kyungmi and other idols had been put into. she knew many considered dancing en pointe to be unnecessary danger to the body too, but they were asking the girls to break an ankle. it was no wonder delight had previously not been given challenging choreography. “it’s not causing trouble to want to be comfortable. no one’s going to make you wear it if you aren’t happy, i will back you up.”

rvkyungmi:
“if i say it’s manageable, will you get mad at me?” kyungmi asked with an awkward laugh. because it wasn’t super comfortable, but to be frank, she’d had it much worse. as tight as it was, it did mean that things would jiggle and bounce a little less, which was a positive. “maybe i’m just too optimistic, but i do really think it was an accident. i’m kind of … the atypical one here. i’m sure when they bulk order the same size for jewel or clover they don’t have this problem, and they just didn’t think twice…”
“not at you. but, yes, a little bit,” the woman sighed, running a hand through her hair in quiet dismay. “you should not be dancing in uncomfortable clothing - if you’re conscious of the fit, you’ll move differently and could hurt yourself. i can’t send you on stage ready to pull a muscle, i’ll lose my job.” yuan shook her head. she imagined it had likely been an accident too, a new hire not thinking, but really, she felt that the convention of bulk ordering outfits in the same size was the issue in itself. siren was the inclusive company, wasn’t it? “come on,” she encouraged softly. “they’ll have time to order you a better fit and tailor it.”

“this is stupid; do i need to go yell at someone?” yuan asked seriously, moving immediately to help her friend. “i’m supposed to be helping you do costume rehearsal for your performances, and instead we’re having to wrestle you into outfits that don’t fit right because someone got complacent.” she grumbled quietly as she did her best to close up the shirt. “it’ll go up, but is it actually comfortable?”
“do you think you could help me zip up the back of this shirt?” kyungmi asked sheepishly, a soft blush on her cheeks. “i think they ordered all these stage outfits in the same size and i uh…………don’t know how well i’ll fit into the top. i’m having a little trouble,” she giggled.
#with kyungmi 1.#sorry that just brought mardy yuan out from the depths of her personality. she's like i thought you moved to siren so shit like this#wouldn't happen! who do i need to very gently kill#remind me to correct the list of thing yuan isn't shy about from just dance to dance and professional blunders that affect her friends

in an instant, yuan’s eyes turned steely and hard. “come again?” she asked, though it was clear she wasn’t actually asking for a repeat of the girl’s words. “i don’t know what misguided sense of superiority has led you to believe that you can speak to anyone like that, let alone your seniors offering advice, but if you want anyone in this industry to ever respect you, i would advise you pack it in.” there was no anger in her tone, only cold finality.
Aidan felt herself zone out with whatever the person was talking to her about. Not that she was trying to be rude, but she had heard it all before. None of it was interesting or new and criticism was never something that was easy for her to take. “Spare me the lecture. You’re not my dad,” Aidan scoffed with a roll of her eyes.

yuan’s eyebrows furrowed slightly. while she was sure she definitely understood his words correctly, she didn’t understand them. “you have periods when you don’t want to write?” she asked, quietly confused. “i don’t think ive gone even a week without freestyling or coming up with a new little bit of choreography in years, unless i was sick...i guess it’s different?”
it wasn’t out of the ordinary for jisung to get asked when he was going to be releasing more music. for a moment there, he was the most popular korean man in the world. but his response was always the same. “when i feel like it,” he replied, shrugging and rubbing his nose. “i’m reading a new series right now. don’t feel like writing music.”
