Weiss: hm… actually. That’s a good point. They seem to know other necromancers…

[ she pops her head up over the bed to look at the other three ]

Weiss: um… excuse me?

[ Kali looks over and smiles gently ]

Kali: yes dear?

Weiss: do you guys know what Vale is like…?

Kali: oh! Not directly, but some of our family friends have made it to Vale and kept in touch with us. They all say it’s nice and sunny, unlike Atlas’s smog and cloudiness.

It’s apparently very colorful. Very busy all the time, and they have a wonderful necromancer school with a very intricate way of life!

I’ve heard it can be a bit overwhelming at first, too.

Weiss: Sunny… I can’t remember the last time I saw the sun. I know it wasn’t here in Atlas…

Blake: I don’t think I’ve ever seen the sun…

Weiss: it’s very bright.

Blake: really?

Weiss: yeah. It’s supposed to be good for you or something.

Kali: vitamin D! Good for the body!

Blake: huh.

I'm glad you have someone. What do you know about Vale? I've heard it's pretty nice. You'll be safe there, at least.

Weiss: I don’t know much. Atlas is very secluded from the rest of the world…

From what the other rich people have said, they consider it to be a uh… circus, of sorts. Only there for the sights, not there for anything more than to laugh at the people and invade their space.

They don’t like how many people seem to be “disrespectful” to them.

So it’s very hit or miss on what they say.

It’s hard to tell what’s real…

How are you feeling Weiss?

[ she looks up, she’s curled up in the corner with Whitley in one of the ship’s bedrooms ]

Weiss: I’m… not sure what the future holds.

Neither is Whitley.

I’m scared. He’s scared. This is extremely terrifying…

But… the couple sharing this room with us is nice. They introduced themselves and Whitley and I have befriended the couple’s daughter.

Her name is Blake.

We’re around the same age. She’s 17, I’m 16.

We are after the party hosted by Jacques Schnee, a party in which Weiss and Whitley Schnee end up sneaking out during and boarding a songbird ship, once they find out what their fates will be in Atlas (to become Pursuers)

Ozpin was there, and distracted Jacques and Ironwood to give the children time to escape. He then falsely led the two men to believe he had no idea what had happened to the children.

Weiss and Whitley are on board a songbird ship right now.

31.

A perfect date is anywhere that brings back memories. A place to reminisce and talk about their lives. This could be good or bad memories. Nobody would think of a bad place as a good place for a date, but it really depends with these two.

Sometimes you need to the confront the past. Sometimes you need to do it with someone you love more than anything else in the world.

And sometimes you need someone who understands.

This is highly dependent on what exactly happened to upset either of them.

Ozpin is more likely to not outwardly show that anything’s wrong, although he gets better about this later in their relationship.

Qrow can get explosive, mainly out of fear that he’s going to be ridiculed.

But overall the consensus is this:

- Ozpin tends to be more nurturing and acts of service, he’s also okay with simply laying there with Qrow until he feels better, or doing anything that Qrow feels he needs, which can be tricky when Qrow doesn’t KNOW what he wants/needs.

- Qrow is a bit more clunky with his comfort, but he learns over time what works and what doesn’t. He tends to just stay in the general area and do stuff for Oz if he asks for it, altho he’s learned how to just get up and do things without Oz needing to guide him. He’s the kind of person to be like “I hate them FOR YOU” and say dumb shit just to make Oz laugh :)
