The MG RX-93 Nu Gundam Ver. Ka. This is the last kit that I built in 2019 and it was a pretty good one to end the year on.

I had heard some negatives about this kit before building, but I found that I had a very different experience with the kit that I have never heard anyone talk about. My biggest issue with the kit are the fin funnel joints, they all seized up on me. I could barely change their orientation and I was afraid of breaking them. People have complained in the past about the connection mechanism, but I actually found that part of the funnels to work very well.

The shield is another let down, the freedom of movement is very limited. This means that it stays in potion on the back of the arm no matter how you turn it. Thankfully the connection to the arm is very sturdy.

Overall I like the freedom of movement in the body of the mobile suit and design behind the kit. With the addition of a stand/display arms for the funnels with the kit, definitely worth the price.

The lightning count times three!  Geese is such a great unit and RG is my favorite grade so when I had the opportunity to jump on the tv anime colors version I was ALL over that.  Now I just need the Geese 2 to finalize the RG Tallgeese line of kits.

Finished up the Gatling gun and the ammo tank. Hoping to get the gold done by next weekend and I’m not looking forward to the ammo chain 😤

The leg packs will probably be last cause it’s a lot of masking

Did up the gold on these two. I’m gonna have to re do the gold on shenlongs sheild and chest because I didn’t know what I was doing when I first did it. You can really see the difference from the chest and the head piece in the close up of shenlong.
