#6 FPS Project Planning- This is close to what I want the final project to look like. I want to get the galaxy moving in the background and the heart pumping. I also want to use a different photo of me to do an outline of me in. I’m thinking of doing something more artistic for the portrait than a basic outline. Maybe I’ll add audio but that’s bonus at this point right now.

#5 Technique Exploration- I tried to do an image trace on a drawing I did. It didn’t turn out very well and I think using the pen tool may be more productive in the future.

#1 FPS Artist Exploration

I chose Bram Vanheeran and Rexisky as my artist mentors. I really love the portrait interpretation the Bram does. They are outlined very artistically and colored using a color scheme that I love. I love that the majority of his work focuses on portraits too. I also chose Rexisky because of his motion effects. I love the motion that is going on in all of his digital art. They all feel very trippy and psychedelic and that’s a look that I wanted to go for in my piece. A lot of them are space themed and I wanted to focus on something like that too.

DSB #2 I filled in the illustrator drawing I made with a bunch of gradients.
