I think a big thing that people are overlooking is how Hobie looks out for his own and how much that coincides with punk culture.

Him looking out for younger teens is so fucking punk of him. He lets Gwen stay with him because she's vulnerable and struggling, he makes her a watch, he lets her keep his shoes, etc. and it's not out of romance, it's because she's family. Same with Miles; he knows Miles is naive and wants to help him, because he's been in the spider society longer and he knows what's really going on. He sees the adults, who are supposed to mentor them, targeting Miles and he just knows it's flat-out wrong and that he wants no part of it.

Hobie takes on such a big brother role for the other characters and I love it. He's more mature than the other teens in so many aspects, and he uses his experience to teach them how to get by because that's what being punk is about

Also if this is true, therefore we can assume that the reason why Clara didnt show her wings yet is because she has angel wings, just as her counterpart in demonology

Balam-sensei for the ask game, please?

Got his growth spurt really late and suddenly. Kalego wasn't prepared for it.

Sleeps in a nest.

Comes from a family where everyone is very tactile and had difficulties realizing that it wasn't the case for everyone when he went to school.

Doesn't lie often but is really good at it.

internally screamed when Kalego told him he had to push Iruma from a cliff so he would join the flying race.

Actually, he internally screams a lot every time Kalego mentions something about Iruma.

Doesn't bring people to his parents anymore because they do embarrassing things like hugging his friends out of the blue, petting them, and so on. (Yes, everything he does.)

Might be the only person in the (demon) world who has the right to touch Kalego casually as long as it's in private. Still, doesn't does it often because Kalego doesn't like physical contacts.

Is under the impression that letting their young roam on their own with no supervision is a human-thing and not an Iruma's parents-thing. Is now convinced that humans are an endangered specie.

If he ever finds his way to the human world, he will end up locked up in prison and be very sad about it. Will not break out on his own.

As you can see it'll be mostly a Balam/Kalego animatic but i've thrown in some Opera too, as a threat

I had enormous problems with figuring Balam's hair so it starts off different and as the animatic progresses it just. Changes for no apparent reason

A doodle that became this after many hours last night and some edits today. Balam holds such a special place in my heart along with many of the characters 🥹. It may be a shared space but he’s lovely and sweet and that’s all that matters.
