i love that in dan’s video when he starts talking about phil, when he says “obviously, we were more than friends,” you see that small slight smile come across him. i can’t imagine how fucking good it felt to say that into a camera after all these years. to basically lay down everything down and express the love and appreciation you have for that one special person in your life. and you can see it all so clearly in that little smile when he says it. it must have felt incredible to take that little step that meant so much to him

You can tell all these people who are saying Dan and Phil hate being shipped are ex phannies or were never in the phandom and are listening to other people. You don't role play fanfiction on a world tour if you're so annoyed by it. The first tumblr tag was in 2013 and they reacted to art of them kissing which they could have cut. Obviously constantly asking them and stalking is wrong but shipping isn't. Dan was completely honest in his video but at no point did he say to stop shipping them.

Why I’m still writing fic and why you should too: A ramble

For any of my fic writer/reader friends who might be feeling weird about fic after Dan’s video, I wanted to make a post about why you shouldn’t. I too was feeling a little weird after the video. For multiple reasons, probably, but I’ll focus on the main two I think I’ve seen other people express. 

Putting it under a cut because it got long. I apologise for how unstructured and rambly this might be, but I just wanted to share my thoughts in case they helped.
