This weeks illustration assignment was to create a poster for a charity we are passionate about and want people to support. I chose Mermaids, an organization that provides resources for transgender/non binary children and their families. I strongly believe that all children deserve to be supported and loved unconditionally, regardless of gender identity. Trans rights are human rights. Consider donating to Mermaids or other LGBTQ+ organizations if you can. Haven't posted in 5ever but that doesn't mean I havent been doing art! Illustration final from last spring o_o. I'm gonna intersperse old stuff I havent shared yet with stuff im doing now. Final project was to do a pitch for some kind of story. Mine was the tragic tale of Lily Marie, a young maid who met with an untimely demise. Trapped in the world between worlds she teams up with a wisecracking skull (aptly named Skully) to navigate the afterlife and find a way home, all while evading the mysterious grim reaper.
