As his lifesource broke, that should've been the end. But his disc being cracked wasn't the final to his story— rather a beginning to a new one.
Tumblr media
ALR SO, I FEEL LIKE IT'S TIME. DISKVERSE'S SEASON TWO, BABY!!!
Basically, his disc being broken did not end his life as he expected, instead it only made him now mortal. He has been given a second chance at life, and the loss of his dearest friend due to his own actions have given him a bit of a new perspective of things. Something the people refer to as "quilt" or possibly "empathy"?
About his design!: The guy basically said "new year, new me". His hat and bracelets stayed, but the rest of his clothes had a bit of a revamp. Not much to say about him, except that the collar of his new shirt resembles Eden's fur a bit

Well I gotta say Diskverse is pretty empty for a verse story, 3 major universes + a few extras mentioned
I wanna conjure up more secondary storylines. So if y'all have au's that I could include in this story, I'd be happy to hear 'bout them <3

A few panels from a scrapped comic i was going to make a few months ago
It was about Eden questioning his freedom and Disk lying right to his gullible face. I have no idea why I didn't finish this, it seemed fine in my opinion??

I'm unsure if I should Make Disk and Eden be in a 'more than friends' type of situation
Tumblr media
Yes, their relationship is toxic as hell, but it would useful from a storytelling standpoint.
I think it could explain a few things 'bout their behaviours or actions. Such as Disk's extreme obsession with Eden, and Eden's hesitance to end Disk's life when he had reason to do so.
But the damn toxicity of their friendship!!! Disk being manipulative and posessive, and Eden is the victim of Disk's twisted morals. They are so bad for eachother, but that creeping loneliness draws them together. ;(

Wanted to write sum again, so take some Disk + Ink interaction
Also, in Diskverse Ink and Disk are somewhat friends. They know eachother and talk every once in a while but there ain't nothing much
Tumblr media
Disk was tapping the "floor" of his void. He had organized a meeting with the protector of AUs himself.
It wasn't quaranteed that he would show up, Disk knew that of course. But just like Bon Jovi said, "We're livin' on a prayer."
After a long, long, long wait. Disk heard something.
It was Ink, materializing from a paint can in the side of Disk's junk pile. Disk waved him over and offered the other a can of some cheap soda.
"Took you long enough." Disk smirked and took a big sip. "Yeah, sorry Diskie. I totally forgot you even existed." Ink laughed shortly and downed his entire drink.
"Soooo? What ya wanted to talk about?" Ink raised his browbone and gestured for Disk to go on.
Disk paused for a second to quickly form the correct sentences, and started speaking. "Well there's this one specific universe I need you to take good care of. I know you already do the protectin' stuff, but this one is just wicked important." Disk paused and took a sip before continuing. "It's Enchanttale, my best friend's original home. A really important place I mean."
"You know i've already got the whole multiverse to take care of? Knowing my boney "brain", I'll forget about this entalechant—whateveritwascalled in like two minutes." Ink reminded Disk and let out a nervous chuckle.
"Yeah yeah i know, that's why i'll give you a reminder. Disk responded while putting down his drink and reaching inside his pocket. Ink watched curiously.
Disk pulled out a permanent sharpie, yanked Ink's scarf a bit roughly and wrote "PROTECT THE GODDAMN ENCHANTTALE" in rat-sized letters. Disk then yanked Ink closer and shoved a good chunk of the scarf in the protector's mouth.
"There, try to remember." Disk said in a weirdly agressive, but also satire-ish tone. He let go of Ink and took the drink back into his hand.
Ink spat out the scarf, still a bit motionsick from the sudden action. The skeleton almost threw up, but managed to keep the upcoming black ink in his guts.
"Alllriiighttt, i think i will remember now." Ink did find the situation a bit funny, and he let out a slight laugh.
Now when that was over, the two still kept on talking for a small while. Just a slight catch-up, until Ink had to return to his usual work.
Disk watched the artist leave. And now he was left in the devastatingly silent void, waiting for Eden's return from Underever.

info 'bout Eden!
I was SO bored i just had to make this
How does he interact with others? Eden is rather introverted, but still easy to approach and talk to. He can be pretty shy at first, but breaking the ice isn't that hard. In general he is really friendly and safe to be around.
His body language? Unlike Disk, Eden's guard is up a lot. He can be found usually fidgeting with his bracelets or necklace to ease his mind. But when he's in a comfortable space, he eases up and his sockets are pretty much half-closed.
Random fact: No matter what clothes Eden usually wears, they cover up most of his body. This is because he has sensory issues. And he is pretty insecure about his bones. (for a reason i don't remember.(I guess it's up for interpretation?))
Tumblr media
Just like Disk, Eden is allowed to be used by pretty much anyone. Just give proper credit lol

Some info 'bout Disk incase any of y'all wanna use them in your content!!
Disk is free to use by pretty much anyone, all i ask for is giving proper credits
How does he interact with others? Disk is very good at talking to people when he wants, he can match their energy and get what he wants from them. But if the person he is talking to is no use to him, he can be rude and just really give off a "if i have to talk to you ever again, i will waterboard myself" type of vibe
His body language? Disk is usually relaxed in all situations he is in. He knows he's never in any real danger because of his respawn ability, so his guard is never up pretty much.
Random fact: Disk's hat strings actually reflect his mood. Usually they just sway on the air. But the more intense his emotions get, the more they move. And when the atmosphere becomes serious, they cease movement completely.

I might be missing some important info from this card, just tell me if you wanna hear more
Also, i will be making a similar post about Eden too

First time actually trying poetry, this probably doesn't even count as poem but I'm trying to write different things
Tumblr media
My eyes aren’t red, right?
You heard my story.
You saw me.
You met me.
But did you really see me?
You saw my brother, but did you see me?
You saw them, but did you see me?
You know me through their eyes.
They might be your doll, a puppet under your control.
Not mine.
Still you blame me.
I had the coals but you were the one who lit them on fire.
You say my eyes are red, I look in the mirror, but I don’t see it.
Is that the way everyone sees me?
Is that the way he saw me?
We met, maybe just once, but we met.
But you still never learned the color of my eyes.
Or maybe you did, maybe everyone did, and I was the only one who didn't see it.

—Full story—
(ALR SO, i will explain the full story right here, right now
It will be fast paced and all character intentions are just shoved down y'alls throaths without stalling
I will slow down only for the important parts)
Also, before reading this i recommend checking out Disk's and Eden's full stories + the story of Eden's bottles, all of them can be found on my blog
——
Disk was a lonely creation with the intention to shape the universes. This multiverse he was placed in was just made to be a big game for him.
Many years of loneliness, studying typical monster behaviour, seeking for a turning point in his life, he decided to pick himself a friend. Someone who will just be there to share the experience.
Disk was a bad person, and he was aware of that. So this friend had to be someone who wouldn't call out his bad behaviour. But of course, it's in a monster's nature to stand up for what was right.
He needed someone emotionally vounerable to slowly turn into this echo chamber. And he found that vounerability in Eden. The pathetic skeleton had lost everything, such an easy target.
It was easier than he thought, the skeleton was in need of salvation and he clung to any hope he got from another monster. So now there Disk had it, a friend for him, and only for him.
At first Eden protested against Disk's actions that seemed to be going too far. So Disk had to quilt trip the other, reminding that without him, Eden would still be suffering.
Slowly Eden's empathy faded into gloomy apathy, Disk's bad actions meant nothing to him.
Just how Disk wanted.
Disk had fun with this friend of his, they grew closer every day. Eden's personality came out more vibrant after giving away those overly caring thoughts about other creations. The two slowly became inseperable.
So inseperable that Disk trusted Eden with his very own host-board, a device he uses to travel within the multiverse.
Now Eden was free to travel without Disk by his side. But unlike Disk, Eden would prefer not causing any harm to others. He talked to them, made "friends", which he wouldn't bother seeing again.
Until. Eden met him. Evero.
The taller sans from Underver was kind. He took time out of his busy days to have full conversations with Eden. Letting the other talk for long periods about his life, his feelings, his griveances.
Evero found the other skeleton intriguing. His life was messy, so messy that it deeply concerned him.
Eden mostly talked about Disk, and the things he had done. Bringing up all of those bad actions and treating them like they weren't big deals or anything.
Didn't take Evero long to catch up on what is going on. Was Eden really that blind? Disk's manipulation was open and obvious. How has it affected Eden this badly?
So during their daily conversations, Evero made sure to call out all of the bad things Disk had done. He wanted to make Eden aware again, to realize these things shouldn't be taken lightly.
And it begun to work, Evero's therapy made Eden notice the severity of Disk's actions. And slowly, Eden stopped letting his actions slide by.
Disk hated this change. He hated how every day Eden would tell him about how much fun he had talking to his new friend. The admiration shining in Eden's sockets.
During these rough times of Eden critisising Disk, they had worked up a deal. Disk would be willing to give away his soul which was stored on a disc, in exchange for two specific potions Eden had created. Liquid negativity and postivity.
Disk didn't have a problem with Eden making new friends. But Evero was feeding these negative views about Disk right into Eden's gullible mind.
This change in Eden was so unwelcome, that Disk wanted to confront Evero himself. To tell him to stay away from the one person closest to him.
Disk stormed through the halls of Underever's castle. He knew Evero was there, he always was according to Eden.
Didn't take long for Disk to find the other. Evero was strolling through the hallways with a small human child with him. A frisk of this universe, Disk assumed.
Evero was confused seeing the strange skeleton. But he connected the dots, this must be Disk. He matches the description Eden had given him.
Disk didn't care about the small human in the room, he got straight to the point. He used rather crude language, telling Evero to simply "fuck off."
But this confrontation wouldn't be that simple, of course. Slowly their argument was getting more verbally violent.
Evero spat out all of Disk's bad deeds right there in his face. And Disk wasn't hearing any of it. Because to Disk, there was nothing wrong with any of his actions. He wasn't made to feel remorse for any of them.
During the argument Frisk just stared from afar, the child was terrified, confused and currently crying, begging for the two to stop yelling.
And then, Disk unseathed his weapon. The knuckle brass with two long spikes on top of it.
There was silence for a second. Then Frisk screamed even louder. The child cried out while watching the two spikes shattering Evero's skull.
The two spikes had gone through his sockets, and out through the cranium.
It took only a day till Eden found out. Evero's dust that no-one in the castle didn't want to touch just laid on the cold floor.
The whole kingdom of Underever was silent with grief. Evero was someone very special to the people, without him and his constant work, the kingdom would've fallen apart. And now, he was gone.
The strong feeling of hatred was very present in Eden at this time. How could he. How could Disk kill someone so dear to him.
Evero was right. He always was. Saying that Disk was a bad person was an understatement. But now Eden was able to stop Disk, he had his soul. Eden could end the one that has terrorized so many.
But he didn't. He couldn't. Every time he held that small disc, he couldn't just snap it in half and be done with it. His gloved hands trembled. No matter how much he hated Disk. He couldn't do it.
He wanted to go home, he cried. He wanted back to Papyrus. He wanted this sick game to be over.
He had made his decision, he wants to return to Enchanttale. His home, where he originally was "saved" from. Eden demanded Disk to never contact him ever again. Eden was repulsed by his mere existence.
Eden also went back on the "a soul for bottles" deal he did with Disk. He just threw over the disc, and received the bottles in return.
And now, he was ready to return to his home. For years he had left his house stranded. And there in the yard was the tombstone.
With a familiar friend sitting on top of it. The sparrow.
Eden could only hope for the possibility to continue his life like nothing had happened. But it was impossible. His nights were sleepless, and most of the time spent awake he just rested against the grave.
He couldn't live like this. His life, filled with regrets and sorrow. It was so much. Too much. The salvation he wished for was just a lie. Instead of being lifted from the ashes of his past, his life was ruined even more.
Eden took his gloves off.
He reached in his pocket and took out the bottle of liquid negativity.
The sparrow landed on the edge of Eden's hand where he held the bottle, he had never been this close to the avian before. With shaky words Eden promised to the sparrow.
"Papyrus, soon i'll be a sparrow too."
He crushed the bottle in his bare hands. Death welcomed him with a gentle embrace.
Disk felt terrible. For the first time?
He never cared about what happened to other people. Their lives didn't matter to him. But Eden, he was not just "another monster" to him. Disk was attached to the other one. And now he had lost him.
Disk stared at his soul which Eden had tossed back before stranding him. The disc allowed him to respawn in a similar way it would let a player. The disc allowed him to continue this sick game. Which he was growing tired of.
It's time to close this story he was made to create. He didn't want to see what was coming next. He didn't care.
A slight snap of the plastic soul breaking in half.
The 'Game Over' screen faded into his vision.

I really REALLY wanted to make Diskverse this really long story but i think i just have to spit it all out now
Needing to release pretty crucial part of Diskverse lore + the ending
I will give the lore segment now, but the ending will be released some other day
Eden's bottles
When Eden first moved in with Disk, his usage of witchcraft was increasing. With that Eden made two potions.
Positivity and negativity, both in liquid form stored inside two tiny bottles.
These potions were extremely dangerous, a drop of either of them could be fatal.
Liquid positivity: a drop gives a sudden violent rush of endorphin. This huge rush of the chemical signals gives the victim violent seizures, which can last for hours. Yet there is a chance for survival.
Liquid negativity: a drop makes the mind and soul be consumed by psychological pain, but these feelings come so quickly that they cannot be recognized. This sudden mental torture causes the body to self destruct, seizing all of the body's inner activity.
Disk was very fascinated by these potions, and wanted to use them on his universe travels.
Eden sees the fact that giving these bottles would be the worst possible idea. All thanks to Evero, who has helped Eden snap out of the echo chamber state Disk had manipulated him into. Now Eden is again able to recognize Disk's wrong doings, and act upon them.
Eden kept refusing giving away the bottles, but Disk was determined to have them. He proposed a deal which Eden couldn't back away from.
In exchange for the bottles, Disk would be giving Eden his soul, a tiny disc which has rested on Disk's necklace. Telling Eden that if he goes too far with the potions, Eden could stop him. Eden could end him.
And the trade was made. Yet Disk felt safe with his soul being in the hands of someone who has lately been growing hatred for him. He knows Eden is a coward. He couldn't kill him, no matter how much he wanted to.

I might be a quitter, but i'll never stop promoting kalu
Calling all my fellow Cross/Dream shippers! I just finished one fanfiction I was supposed to finish month ago, but better late than never.
So yeah, I wrote a fanfiction about them. About 10 000 words, like a knight/prince kind of thing. I was fun to work with.
And if anyone reads it, would you like to read a sequel?
