And how would breaking anyone even help them to begin with? You just want to hurt us more, and for what? Cause we disappointed you? We didn’t arrive sooner? We don’t want you to hurt yourself, or anyone else. Please.
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR shakes his head, trembling with rage. The crack on the side of his skull widens.]
"SHH- SHUT UP...! STOP TALKING!"
[* He begins pacing mid-air, muttering under his breath. TREBUCHET attempts to speak, but to no avail- her cage is replaced by a thick glass tube. She's completely inaudible.]

Woo! Go Serif!
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR becomes infuriated, staring daggers down at SERIF again. This seems to be taking considerable effort on his part- he's sweating, with excess red drenching the front of his robe.]
[* The exact same outcome occurs. SERIF gets to his feet and scratches the back of his shorts.]
[* This manages to make the CONTINUITY ERROR even more irate.]
"HHHHOW- HOW ARE YOU... HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT?! WHY AREN'T YOU SCREAMING?! WEEPING WITH REVERENCE?!"
[* SERIF shrugs.]
"'unno. can't break what's already broken, i guess. uuhuhuh..."
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR's eye twitches. He raises his hands and slowly drags them down his face, chuckling to himself. It doesn't sound funny.]

Let him go!!
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR grabs SERIF up by the neck, cackling.]
"AAIEEHAAAHAHAHEEHEE...! OH, DEAR! IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN DANGER?!"
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR turns to glare at SERIF, grinning wildly. The air crackles. SERIF frowns as much as he can, attempting to squirm out of the CONTINUITY ERROR's grasp.]
"what- how are you THAT strong- ?! put me duh- huuhuh- down, you fuckin'- "
"IF YOU INSIST."
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR widens his eyes, dropping SERIF to the ground. SERIF's eyelights begin to tremble, growing larger, fuzzier...]
[* . . . ]
[* Before shrinking back to their normal shape and size.]
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR stammers, looking baffled.]
"... WHAT... ?"

You still can't keep doing this to them! You can't keep changing them, keep making them your version of 'perfect'!
"I CAN, AND I WILL! ALL OF THIS... THIS NEEDLESS SUFFERING...! YEARS OF MY LIFE, WASTED, FFFFOR- FOR WHAT?! NOT- NOT ANY MORE! AIEEEAAHAHAAAEEAEH!"
[* CALIBAN has begun to slowly back away from the exchange while you speak to the CONTINUITY ERROR.]
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR, oblivious, snaps his fingers. SERIF appears next to him, rubbing his eyes. He looks at his hand, confused. Seems as if he had been holding something.]
"whussat? oh, shit."
[* He squints around, the corners of his mouth pointing downwards.]
"... this, uh... looks bad. out huh- huuuhuh- here."

What did you do to Hurtem??
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR shrugs.]
"I PUT HER SOMEWHERE ELSE. SHE'S FINE."

But they did happen! They did change! You can’t just make them who they were before- they’ve become different people! Most of them want to stay this way, too!
[* COURIER gets to his feet, dazed. He pats himself down.]
"... what's goin' on?"
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR cackles at your comment, motioning grandly to COURIER.]
"OH, BUT LOOK! IN MY- MY PERFECT WORLD, NOTHING HORRIBLE EVER HAPPENED TO HIM! HE WAS A PERFECTLY PASSABLE PENCIL-PUSHER. NO CORKBOARDS OR CONSPIRACY! AND HE'S MUCH MORE MENTALLY STABLE, TOO."
[* HURTEM shoots the CONTINUITY ERROR a dirty look, scowling.]
"Oh, yeah, like you're the shining example of THAT, huh? What, I bet you-"
[* She's gone.]

Not even willing to listen to her, are you?
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR glares at you, raising his hands to the sky.]
"I'LL SHOW YOU! I'LL RIGHT EVERY WRONG IN THIS FORSAKEN WORLD!"
[* His fists clench. COURIER appears next to him, tumbling into a heap on the ground.]
[* With a shuddering flash, COURIER is clad in an office uniform. No fedora, no trenchcoat, and notably less haggard-looking.]
"NONE OF THESE THINGS EVER HAD TO HAPPEN! TO ANYBODY!"

We don't have money, so no! (What's Trebuchet saying to him?)
[* You inch closer to their conversation.]
"... -you're right, i don't know what you saw."
"AND YOU- YOU- YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO...!"
"yeah, i... don't. so don't... do that, okay? but- papyrus, look- i'm not supposed to be here. not like this. you know that."
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR is silent, hanging his head.]
"you're hurting these people. you're scaring them."
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR glares up at TREBUCHET, jabbing his finger into her chest.]
"AND SO WHAT IF I AM?! THIS- I'M- I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS! ONLY I CAN MAKE THIS A PERFECT WORLD!"
"not at the sake of the sanity and safety of others! would you get the hell off of your high horse and LISTEN to me, papyrus?!"
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR grabs TREBUCHET up by the back of her shirt, narrowing his eyes at her. TREBUCHET kicks and squirms, attempting to free herself.]
"I THOUGHT YOU WOULD HAVE WANTED TO SEE ME. I- I THOUGHT- I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE HHHHHAPPY. TO SEE ME."
[* TREBUCHET stops, looking at the CONTINUITY ERROR. Her face softens, her voice wavering.]
"i AM happy to see you, of course i am! but you're-"
"I'M TALKING! I DON'T KNOW IF YOU DID THE MATH, DEAR SISTER, BUT I NOW HAVE SEVERAL YEARS ON YOU. IPSO-FACTO, I HAVE SUPERIORITY!"
[* He drops TREBUCHET to the ground. A large pillow appears to catch her fall as a spacious cage folds around her.]
"YOU WILL SEE THE WORLD I CAN MAKE. IF WE HAVE TO LIVE A FANTASY, I WILL MAKE IT ONE THAT IS WORTH LIVING!"
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR turns his attention to you and your friends.]

I really don't think we could even if we wanted to.
[* HURTEM smirks.]
"Wanna bet?"
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR seems to be getting increasingly upset with whatever TREBUCHET is saying. He's crying.]

Thumbs up to Caliban!
[* CALIBAN sighs.]
"Yeesh. Sorry. I guess, uh... that explains everything. He would pull something like this."
[* The conversation between the CONTINUITY ERROR and TREBUCHET does not seem to be going well. The CONTINUITY ERROR is shouting. The ground around his feet trembles.]
[* HURTEM glares at the CONTINUITY ERROR, glancing to you.]
"... And killing him is off the table, I bet."

Try to see if the others are okay?
[* You check on your friends while TREBUCHET attempts to defuse the situation. CALIBAN and HURTEM are unharmed. SKIPPER is attempting to console CRUNCH, to no avail.]
[* CALIBAN glances uncomfortably towards the CONTINUITY ERROR.]
"... This ain't good. Is that where you've been? Dealing with that?"

scooter, this isn't right. none of this is. you're not helping anybody, you're going to hurt them.
[* Your speakers crackle out halfway through your sentence. The CONTINUITY ERROR approaches TREBUCHET, trembling.]
"I- IT DOESN'T MATTER! YOU'RE HERE, I'M HERE...! I FIXED IT! I CAN FIX EVERYTHING!"
[* TREBUCHET shakes her head.]
"no, no, i'm... i- i'm not supposed to be here, pap! what are you doing?!"
[* She points to the massive, blinding-white hole in the sky.]
"did you do that? what is that, dude?!"

Told you.
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR freezes, his face falling. He holds his hands out disarmingly.]
"IT'S- IT'S ME...!"
[* TREBUCHET gathers herself as much as she can, looking around the area before glancing back to the CONTINUITY ERROR. She wrings her hands nervously, speaking cautiously.]
". . . papyrus?"
"YES! YES, LOOK, I- I DID IT! YOU'RE HERE! I CAN FIX EVERYTHING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO US- TO, TO- TO EVERYBODY!"
[* TREBUCHET is silent, processing. Her expression turns sorrowful.]
"no, this... this isn't right. this isn't... what... what happened to you?"

.. Hello?
[* As she gets to her feet, you can see a light blue ascot carefully tied around her neck.]
[* She stares down at her hands, flexing them for a moment, then moving to pat her face.]
"... what... where's...? wh- what's going on?!"
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR is silent for several seconds, processing what's in front of him. Once he confirms his eyes aren't deceiving him, holds his arms out wide, beaming. Dark red is streaming out of his mouth- this seems to have taken considerable effort.]
"IT WORKED...! YOU'RE- YOU'RE HERE! YYYUUUH- YOU'RE- YOU'RE REALLY HERE! TREBUCHET!"
[* In a blink, he's hugging TREBUCHET tight, picking her up off of the ground. TREBUCHET yelps in shock.]
"FINALLY, I- I THOUGHT- I MEAN, I KNEW I COULD, BUT- BUT... MY BIG SISTER IS-"
[* TREBUCHET squirms out from the CONTINUITY ERROR's hold, her eyes wide in horror. She looks down at her clothes, now stained the same hue as his, before looking back up at him. She's shaking.]

[* The CONTINUITY ERROR cackles, clenching his fist in the air.]
"WATCH THIS!"
[* Electricity crackles, followed by a blinding flash that knocks you and your friends off of your feet.]
[* When you manage to sit up and focus, your gaze lands on a heap in the middle of the steaming crater left by the force.]

That's just petty revenge for what happened while you were both trapped. You said you were the only one who could take it, and now look what you've did- make someone else go through the same thing! You're no God. You'll never be one.
[* The CONTINUITY ERROR's head snaps to look at you, his expression twisting in fury.]
"I'LL SHOW YOU JUST HOW GRACIOUS OF A GOD I AM! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING! I'M MORE OF A GOD THAN ANY OF YOU COULD HOPE TO BE!"
[* He slams you into the ground, the rift in the sky tearing itself even wider.]
"WHY DON'T I PERFORM SOME MIRACLES THEN, HM!? LET'S START BY RAISING THE DEAD!"
