So uhhhh, not writing, but I suffer from chronic pain and PoTS and I just kinda need somewhere to let my feelings out.

I hate it, the cold makes me ache and the heat makes me pass out, and this winter has been particularly rough for my chronic pain. My lower back has been constantly aching, alongside my hips and knees, and I legit grunt in pain every time I need to get up from bed for work. Speaking of that shithole, it’s just pain having to wake up at 5:30am just so I have enough time to get ready for work without throwing myself into a flare up. And it’s not like I can just warm myself to stop this from happening cause here’s where my PoTS comes into play. Heat causes my heartbeat to slow down faaarrrrr too much and makes me risk passing out. I feel constantly out of breath after doing small tasks like cleaning my room and just the thought of getting my own apartment or house and having to clean it all fills me with dread because of that. And I can’t go get properly treated for shit, since that would require a formal diagnosis on paper instead of a doctor just saying to me “yeah there’s a high chance you have PoTS and chronic pain” which will take probably months cause the wait lines in Canada are crazy long. Not to mention, I’m AFAB so most doctors will just shrug me off because “it’s just anxiety” or “you may be pregnant” are such common excuses to not treat both chronic pain and PoTS in AFAB people. I’m just so fucking drained and wanna cry. I wish I could get the help I need but I just can’t, not without throwing myself into a flare up, or risk not being believed at all. I wish someone who knew me irl would notice how badly I’m doing and help me, I just need someone to help but I’m so scared to ask cause no one ever believes me.

Working more and more on my masterlist, it’ll take awhile since there’s so many characters I wanna write for, but I’ll probably post the masterlist incomplete for the sole reason of making navigation easier. A lot won’t work yet, but that’s fineeeee
