For nearly 2 years now, Israel has been comitting a genocide in Gaza. As Israel continues to refuse essential aid, over 2 million Palestinians face manmade starvation – on top of being bombed every day, having to flee from their homes with no guarantee that they will ever be able to return, living in horrific circumstances in makeshift tents and most of them without access to even the most basic of needs.
However: The situation is not hopeless and there are still ways to help Palestinians survive this horrific war! Aid can still reach Palestinians in many forms, and you can help!
Joker Out have written a song about the genocide in Gaza – Sonce, about a child grieving its death in this war, a fate that many Palestinian children had to suffer. With that song in mind, I want to propose to you a small fundraising event:
I have made a few Sonce bracelets that I will bring to the shows in Turku and at Dinosaurock.
If you donate to help Palestinians, you will get a bracelet. Simply show to me proof that you:
1. Have made your Daily Click for Palestine
2. Have donated any amount of money to either a vetted Palestinian Gofundme, or a Palestinian aid organisation (donations must not be older than 7 days)
I will match the total sum donated up to a maximum of 40€ by making my own donation to the Palestinian Childrens Relief Fund.
