Trini wasn't sure if Billy was messing with her or not, mostly because Billy didn't usually make or get jokes. Though the idea of Kim spending ANY time getting ready for detention, outside of her usual morning rituals, made Trini blush a bit. So much so she nearly forgot that she'd started a bet with her fellow Ranger. "You're on 'mano." Trini agreed, shifting back to keep an eye on the door. "My money's on them coming in with our 'warden'." Trini countered with a smirk.

Of course it was Zack’s fault they were running late. Zack and his drama-queen self were usually the cause if a problem. Of course that wasn’t entirely fair, the Rangers all had their habits that tended to be more trouble than they were worth. “Huh. I was totally going to put my money on Kim taking forever to get ready.” Trini half teased before looking around, noting that the detention room was filling up. “Wanna bet on how late they’re gonna be?” Trini asked, knowing that the teacher assigned to detention wouldn’t show up until the last possible minute anyways.

Not that Trini had a history or habit of being aggressive, but between her, Jason, and Zack Billy was protected. Though as a Ranger Billy was pretty capable on his own. “So, any idea what’s got the others running late?” Trini asked, knowing that with Kim’s car being the main car they used it could be anything.

Trini moves closer to where the device is and watches it do what it’s supposed to. Truthfully, Trini wasn’t sure what she was seeing, or rather she wasn’t sure what to expect from something called an ‘automatic toast butterer’. But she hadn’t been expecting a device that did what a human would do anyways. At least not in the same way. Not that it wasn’t neat, but for someone like Trini it seemed a little redundant. But it was still neat! “Huh. Chica, I gotta say that that wasn’t what I was expecting. Still cool though.” Trini admitted, getting out of the beanbag chair to inspect the device.

Of course there wasn’t any reason to complain about one of the comfiest chairs ever known to man. “So wait, you didn’t have it set up already? “That’s my girl.” Trini said with a grin as Billie lead her into the cluttered, and oft unkempt room Billie had adopted as her lab. Of course the word lab was relative, and to Trini it just looked like a room crammed to the gills with random odds and ends and things that would probably get poke-y, prod-y, stab-y and explosive if touched. “Yes, because toast is so very healthy.” Trini teased, finding a space clear enough for her to lean on. “But I suppose toast is kinda like potatos; all you need is a little imagination and creativity.” Trini added. Her duffel sat outside the lab, out of the way. After all, space inside the lab was at a premium with two people in it.
