Funny enough I have my own AU idea where Tsubasa would be the protagonist instead of Takumi, like the plot of Danganronpa v3 at the beginning.

So like Takumi dies and Tsubasa becomes the new protagonist?

Kako giving relationship advice to Karua and Takumi would be both funny and sad because Kako doesn't have a good relationship to use a reference, the closest thing she had was Eito and we all know how that turned out.

On one side Karua would be afraid of freaking out Kako when talking about her relationship problems, prefacing everything with "you'll think I'm insane for this but..." And then say something absolutely insane that does not register to Kako as such because of her relationship with her brother, she'd think Karua is a tad too jealous or clingy at worst.

On the other side Takumi would confess to his insecurities when making decisions, he doesn't always internally agree with what Karua/Sirei/SDU think is best but Takumi is the type to give in to peer pressure so he always gives in, it's easier to go with the flow anyways, Kako would be one of the few to support his independence, not saying the others wouldn't but given they are at war, a place where deviating from orders can endanger lives, not a lot of them would even have enough space in their minds to prioritize Takumi's personal growth.

Poor Kako having to deal and fix the others' codependent relationship after recently getting out of one herself 😭

I can imagine Karua being the one holding Takumi back from being in the front lines just like what Ima did to Kako. I get this feeling that without Ima to hold Kako back, Kako would've shortly joined after the fight because she doesn't want to be a burden to those fighting.

Karua and Nozomi are different. Nozomi is brave, Karua (is probably) not as much, because Takumi used conjure Karua as a princess to be protected and him as a knight to be the one to protect her. But...since Karua is now an actual person, just imagine her being a bit selfish here.

Karua cares about Takumi and cannot fathom the idea of him dying in the battlefield. (That part with Takumi meeting Nozomi in the canon and saying "they're not forcing you to fight are they?" leads me to believe that Karua wouldn't be inclined to join the battlefield either, which means she's left behind, of course she doesn't want to be left alone so she'd probably force Takumi to stay by her side.)

Kako would have zero clue on how to convince either, Karua is very stubborn and Takumi just goes along with her because...we all know why.

...I just had a thought. Remember Ima stabbing someone? What if...Karua slaps someone, someone who actually tries to teach Takumi to have some courage to fight?

"If you want your guts splattered on the battlefield, then so be it, be my guest! But NEVER drag me or Takumi into it!!"

Uh... Since I role swapped this four.... Can i pretty please role swap my queen Hiruko with someone else too? This would mean:

-Kako would suffer the timeloop with someone else (Hiruko gets a break from timetravel shenanigans ☺)

-This someone would replace Hiruko that would mean that Hiruko won't die in route 0

-Pretty pls pretty pls pretty pls so that I can still make Hiruko and Takumi a pair in this au

Wait, four underscores? None of the people Eito kills in route 0 have four letters in their name.

I remember a theory about how Eito copied Takumi's personality, more specifically his corny speech from when he carried Eito on his back and I was thinking what if Eito reflected Kako's personality? Still upbeat but showing more of his mistrust of Sirei and their mission, subtle dislike for relying on others, maybe even more detective like whatever that means to both Kako and Eito.

I believe with Takumi Eito unconsciously injected some of his desire to be understood into the act, I think with Kako he'd be more aware, deliberately warping parts of his hatred, shaving them until they're soft enough to pass off as traits that resonate with Kako's.

But that's just what I think, I am obsessed with your AU lol, can't wait to see more.

I imagined Kako having to project his brother's image into someone else because she's really lonely, it's been a while since she's faced something all on her own after all. Sure she wanted to do things in her own way but not this sudden where the guy she had relied on and cared for her entire life suddenly disappears and she's never gonna see him for 100 days.

So imagine Kako, one night, crying over a dream about her brother, in which she had an argument with brother back then where she fully believed she was in the right and never actually apologized. Then goes out of her room to the outside, and sees Eito (who just finished up killing ____), who asks her "What's wrong?" Then Eito lays the idea to Kako that he can be relied on at any time. Kako in turn, hugs him. (Eito is undoubtedly grossed out in his mind but he sucks it up and gently pulls her away from him as quickly as humanly possible.)

And so Kako sees Eito in a different light now! Eito takes note of this and realizes he can make up an image: an image of a reliable, dependable, and protective older sibling, and preferably tamer than the brother she had back then. Eito becomes what Kako perceives him to be. Eito didn't even know why he didn't leave her alone then and there and why he actually stayed to comfort her on whatever she had going on, he had no idea (and then he'd justify it on his own way saying it's the easiest way to fool her).

So um... Yeah, that's my take on what front Eito might pull off. I'm definitely writing this down in my fic.

Saw the anon and immediately doodled an idea that popped in my head.

I am NEVER gonna take away corn ball Eito tho. No corn ball Eito = I stop breathing.
