Alright so S3 Part 2 Teaser released and I just want to point out one thing about the Jay vs Zarkt battle which will reference spoilers from the leaked eps

Oh boy. New angst idea for Jay🥹

I imagine that when he gets his memories back, he is gonna be very miserable about himself and his actions, and there will be a lot of conflict inside of him. So what if he won't be able to do Spinjitzu for a while? Because that guy is gonna have anything but inner-balance in his heart...

And can you imagine how upsetting that is going to be??? Spinjitzu is literally the most fundamental thing about being a ninja.

God, Jay Walker, you are not ready for what I'm about to do to you this summer.

(I already have 3 angsty fic ideas that I want to write. No, I don't have any experience in writing fics. I HOPE I can manage to write prose that doesn't sound like a 5th grader wrote it...)

Small ninjago dragons rising theory (s3p2 leak spoilers below)

I feel like I'm about to point out the obvious right now, but at the same time, I've seen no one talk about this, so I might as well share my thoughts.

I've been thinking about all the new information we got in s3p2 regarding Jay's circumstances with the Administration.

I used to consider Jay's post-merge arc to be something like this:

Administation Agent Era -> Wolf Clan Era -> Rogue Era

But the more I think about it, the more I start to believe that it looks more like this:

Administration Agent With Memories Era -> Administration Agent Without Memories Era -> Wolf Clan Era -> Rogue Era

Let’s recap all the information that Jay has provided.

1. The first thing he remembers is waking up in the Land of Madness without ANY information about himself whatsoever, not even his name.

2. Some agents found him and told him his name and that he worked at the Administration like them, doing Realm Reassignment.

3. The Administration had photos of Jay. (Although Jay says they're fake. Actually no, he just says that stuff like that can be faked. Hm.)

4. Leaving the Administration is something no agent ever does. (Theoretically)

What I'm trying to get at is that, it seems weird to me that anyone would just walk up to Jay, call him by his actual accurate real name and give him a job at the Administration that is pretty high in the hierarchy if they hadn't actually known him before and he hadn't actually worked there at some point and earned that spot, because he is not just some random intern / subagent, he is a MANAGER.

My theory is that Jay probably ended up at the Administration right after the Merge, with his memories intact and thought that he would maybe be able to find / intersect with the other Ninjas if he worked in the Realm Reassignment Department and then they'd escape together. He does just that, gets promoted to manager, but he waits for so long that he starts to lose hope, so he decides to search for them himself. Since the Administration doesn't take leaving lightly at all, I wouldn't be surprised if they were pretty pissed that Jay tried to escape and just. Took his memories and then acted like whoops actually we just found you without memories but yeah you do work with us here's actual photos please come back with us 🥺🥺🥺 and from there we vaguely know what happens. Jay, with no memories, gets upset with / sick of the Administration for an unknown reason and tries to leave, gets rescued by Ras yada yada

So yeah, I'd love to hear everybody else's thoughts on this and if you have another theory, I'd love to read about it^^

Leaked spoilers for Ninjago DR S3 P2 below !!!

So um. I would like to point out something that may upset a few people.

Y'all remember the person following Nya in Mysterium in ep 18, right?

This guy?

Why do so many people keep saying it's Jay?😭😭

Like that guy is so clearly Kai (I suggest zooming in on the unedited screenshot, the details are more visible)

And if you think about it, it makes sense narratively, too.

Kai's last appearance before this scene was when him and Frak came back from Imperium and met up with Sora and Wyldfyre who then proceeded to explain to them off-screen what was going on. Next thing you know, Frak is with Sora and Wyldfyre on their way to Djinnjago.

So where is Kai? I find it a bit hard to believe that after he is told that Nya is alone right now in Mysterium he wouldn't be like: "oh man I should go after her to help, especially since she's alone".

But then I had people point out to me that there's yellow lightning that appeared in the background.

And to that I say

Thunderfang exists and he is visible from pretty much the whole Merged Realms😃

I will say that the way this moment is presented is...strange.

Like, why act all so mysetrious if it's just kai coming to help... my thoughts are that the eerie music and lightning are there to signify Thunderfang's growth in power. But I'd really love to hear other people's thoughts on this.

So is Jay coming back?

Weeeell, idk honestly. My guess is that he will track down Ras and go to the Monastery after him. That way we'll also have someone at the Monastery who can actually fight Ras (I hope he can because atp he just keeps fumbling every fight even though he has advantages like whyyy). I'd also like to hope that Zane and Pixal noticed what was happening during their trip and that they're coming back to the Monastery to see what's going on.

I really wish I could give any thoughts on how Jay's arc in s3 will conclude. I definitely think he's coming back in the last 2 eps for something, whether it is hunting Ras or changing his mind about helping the ninja (very unlikely imo, the guy was really mad when he left and rightfully so). But anything else is a big mystery imo

I hate winter haters honestly. If you say hes an asshole you've clearly never read the books before, or have never payed an ounce of attention to his character. yes he might be a cold character, but bffr. There are SO many characters in wof that are way worse, yet people still love them way more.

He blamed himself for his brothers capture, saw his father die, banished himself from his own kingdom and school, had a horrible family, and survived the disappearance of like 40-50% (smth like that) of the icewing kingdom. And yet hes still seen as an asshole?? also when moon and Qibli maybe liked him more when he was under darkstalkers spell. He really shouldve berated them so much worse but he didn't. Moon and Qibli still didn't say sorry or anything after, and i find that so fucked up. Anyway im a firm believer that winter is not an asshole

I RAMBLE ABOUT A STARLESS CLAN ANTAGONISTS

I made a meme with the ASC villains a few days ago and then I proceeded to ramble about them. This is the rambling that was supposed to accompany that post before I had some technical issues with Tumblr.

Warning: I think some of my takes here might suck in the eyes of others but I can't really rest until I get these thoughts out of my head.

I like to think Podlight was aware of this whole mess since before Curlfeather died and that he just thinks Splashtail is continuing his sister's work. I think that before Wind, he knew everything they had done EXCEPT for the fact that Splashtail planned to have the dogs kill Curlfeather. I also believe he will likely betray Splashtail now that Frostpaw revealed that bit of information at the Gathering in the beginning of Wind.

I also desperately need to see how Splashtail, Berryheart and Podlight interact and how they rule RiverClan. But for that, we need a protagonist to witness these events. So, dear antagonistic kitties, please notice the THREE protagonists hiding in a bush JUST outside your camp and take one of them as prisoner. It can't be Frostpaw because she is meant to rescue RiverClan and she can't do that by being stuck in the enemy camp. Also, Splashtail would kill her. It can't be Nightheart because Berryheart would want him dead. Thus, Sunbeam remains our only option. And if they do capture Sunbeam, we will have more mother-daughter angst, yay. Actually, no, I changed my mind Nightheart could fit this scenario quite well too. Berryheart could use him to sorta "blackmail" Sunbeam I suppose. And Frostpaw and Sunbeam could have the occasion to bond a little more as they're both protagonists. Nighheart already has strong bonds with both of them. We would have an arc where the protags have bonded with each other all the way through. (Unlike TBC in which Shadowsight was like: "Omg we've been through so much together, the 3 of us, we're such good friends!!! Meanwhile Bristlefrost: We spoke to eachother exactly 2 times. (I don't think she said this but it'd be so funny if she did))

Do I want these cats to die though?

Berryheart, yes. (too much of a karen to be left alive, I'm sorry). I know it's kinda iffy since the other female antagonist of this arc is also dead but like. I'm sick of her, I'm sorry.

Podlight, no. (he's such a silly little man, bonus points if he actually remains a medicine cat and learns how to be a proper one). Actually this applies only if he does end up betraying Splashtail. Otherwise, I'd want him gone too.

Splashtail, no. (I am so sick of the main villain dying. But I also don't want him to disappear into the unknown like Sol and Sleekwhisker. I guess what I want the most for him is a redemption of sorts. Maybe he is beyond that. But like. Fucking Clear Sky got a redemption (a very shit one, but a redemption nonetheless). So I'm not that convinced Splashtail is beyond redemption. I guess I also want him to live because he is so unbelievably young and has his whole life ahead of him. My solution to this dilemma is the following: Splashtail is defeated. He wants to return to RiverClan like he said he'd do when he was at the Moonpool with Podlight. But Frostpaw tells him that he may come back to RiverClan only after he learns to meditate and reflect on his actions. She basically sends him to the Park Cats and after some time he comes back as a changed man and proves himself to the rest of his Clan. THE END. I don't know how this would work without him killing someone, though (actually if they sent Rootspring (+ another cat so it's 2v1) to guard him, it would work as Rootspring has his op earth powers that could help him easily find both the park cats and find Splashtail if he tries to run away and escape from him). It's a bit frustrating how we still don't know that much about Splashtail and how his mind works because I have so many headcanons based on little things I noticed about him and I have the massive urge to write a psychological analysis on him but the Erins might butcher his character so it would all be meaningless. I will make an AU out of it if it doesn't come true (which probably won't) and write a fanfic or something about his whole life in RiverClan as well as this redemption journey I have in mind for him.)
