i love shipping both neotrin and neosmith at the same time

like genuinly both of them are such anchors to him.

both of them were needed for neo to be able to get to where he got at the end of revolutions. without trinity his love for humanity would be in.... well humanity and he would choose to reset zion and without agent smith he would have no bargin to strike with the machine's. though emotionally smith was important to neo (though i think neo had a little bit bigger of an impact on smith) both of them were needed to break the cycle.

trinity is sorta chosen by the oracle, neo is a predicted exception that the archetect has a set plan for, and smith is the sorta wild card that actually allows every thing to work out in the end.
