Merry Christmas and a little uptade about my life....

Well, I can tell I’m not the person that writes regulary post, notes etc. 

But here I am! Writing new post about my life and how it’s going. So let’s start it!!

First of all I want to wish you all Merry Christmas and If you’re not celebrating it... simply Happy Holiday or just hope you all are having good time today and are waiting for new year with hope of better life, new chances and so on! Just be happy people, be happy!!!

About my University life... it’s going okay. I’m on my 3rd year of korean major and in my country it means I have to write my diploma.... yay.... not really, i wish i had just one more year. But can’t have it, so I need as good as I can or even better.

This year is not that busy but still there is a lot of to learn. This year I have subjects like: history of korean langauge, korean culture (exactly it’s not the name of my subject.. is more like culture of the used langauge region... something like that....), korean gramma, and of course korean language.

Can complain about those subjects but..... god please, let me pass without the problem history of korean culture because it’s not an easy task!!!!

Yeah and since there is really not a lof of things happening in my life, i’m going end my post here. 

Hope i will write here soon.... or at least when i receive my diploma... and then I can continue my major in 4th and 5th year!!

Preparing to Korean Culture Day.

So these days I have full hands of work, so because of that I’m little tired and also I catch a cold, which is not goot but i’ll be fine, I have to.

This weekend, Friday and Saturday, we’re going to have korean culture day so our korean major has a lot of things to do. 

So in this korean culture day I participate as a singer, okay something close to it, when I’m going to sing trots, samulnori, playing pug and also in our Shimcheon performance. I’ll try after that post here some vidoes.

And I think that’s it? It should be longer, I know, but for me talking about preparation, when it’s similar to every performace preparation just practice, practice and more practice, is kinda boring, so I’ll just skip it.

After our korean culture day for sure i’ll describe how it went so it should be longer.

Internship and preparation to Korean Day in Poznań.

And it happend. I’ve never had a lot of things to do, expect some pratice with korean traditional drums and sometimes studying for my exams or tests.

But know I’m going to have much more to do and it makes me so excited! So the director of Elementary School, where they have also some foreign kids agreed to take me as an intern. And it is really important for me cuz without any intership ( we need to have 150 h of it) i can’t graduate my Uni with bechelor degree. And I’m also happy cuz my dreams is to be teacher anyway, so it will also show me if it is the right path for me. Hapy, happy!!

Also finally, FINALLY we’re doing something with our Korean Day. I was so scared that this time we won’t make it. BUT YES WE WILL. This year we’re going to perform Shimcheon and I’m going to play Shim Bongsa, Shimcheon’s blind father. Can’t wait for final result of our practice! :)

Long time no see

Okay, I haven’t been here of such a long time that I even had to check on my blog what was the last thing I wrote here. Wow, just wow.

So it’s been just a week since i started my second semester of my studies. Exams wasn’t that hard as I was afraid they would be, but still it wasn’t that easy eather. 

For sure I can say that teachers that teach korean classes are demanding as hell, which is good. Thanks to that we have to study hard and it develops our language skills more. 

And these semester we have some new korean classes. History of Korea and regional studies (hope i’ve searched it right, how to write it in English, cuz damn i have no idea).  And I think I’m going to enjoy them. 

And I’m really sorry, that I have nothing more to write. There is a lot of thing that’s going on on my university but I think this year I concetrate more on my social life and love life also. So maybe that’s why I have problems with finding more things to write here. But next time I’ll try my best to write here more. Promise!!!

The second year.

So, we can say that the first day of this month i’ve just started the second year as a korean philology student.... sounds cool, and trust me, it feels great.

Also this year is quiet different than my first one. I have new profesors and new classes, some are really interesting and some of them... well they’re really nice bed stories. 

But what I’m the most happy about are my two korean class profesors. They’re really great and I can learn a lot from them. It just makes me want to try hareder to learn korean language. Oh and the second thing, that I’m the most happy about, is my flat, that I rent, and people I live with, not all of them, I have one sad exepction but stil... two great girls are with me. And we bought today a washing machine. Hurray! 

Oh, this week, tomorrow i mean, I’m going to have my first in this year meeting with samulnori, I’m really excited, cuz some of those people I haven’t seen for a whole summer break!!

The end of the first year

So here we go, last Friday i’ve just ended my first year of my university. I don’t have much to say. It all passed so fast. I still remember my first day of being in Poznań, all alone, without parents.

For sure this year was special. Firstly I’ve learn a lot about the country I’m interested in. The korean language classes gave me a lot of happiness. I’ve also met amazing people that I could share my passion with. I think that what changed in my life is mostly my personal life not the school one. I’ve never imagined anything of those things that happend while I was studying. It’s kind of crazy.

Now I’m looking forward my second year.

To everyone that have summer break now. Please enjoy it and rest a lot, so you can have more strength to study and making new friends and experience!

When I was younger, I wish someone had told me straight-up that not all adults experience “a calling”. That many of them never find particular purpose in a career. That sometimes, their job is just what pays the bills and they have to seek satisfaction and fulfillment elsewhere. 

Because as an adult, this pervasive notion that there exists a perfect path for everyone, that people should love what they do, and that work is meant to function as a vehicle for fulfilling a person’s grand life destiny is not only inaccurate for many of us, it can be toxic.

The ideal is so ingrained that I have to remind myself constantly I’m not a failure because I don’t adore my job, and because I’m not rocking the world with my work. That is okay. 

Sometimes, work is just work. There isn’t always a perfect career path, magically waiting to be discovered. There might not be this THING you were born to do. Sometimes, you discover that what you really want to be when you grow up is “paid”.

I feel like there’s a huge failing on readers’ parts to communicate to fic authors how much they appreciate their works or how much it affects them, unless the fic is “fandom famous” for some reason. sometimes it...

How I started my second semester in uni.

At first I’m really sorry that I haven’t wrote for so long but I was really busy.

Every year my major is making Korean culture day 한국 문화의 날. And every year of our korean major has to take even a little part of it. Me and my year made a play about Chunhyang legend. I think we did a really great job. Next year we will definitly do something too.

I also took part in samulnori 사물놀이. It a traditional drum play and it’s really amazing. 

And the last thing i took part in was dance cover to H.O.T Candy. Well... people had a lot of fun so I think we did great. Girls were amazing but me.... I’m more into girls’ dance, but still I also had a lot of fun.

About my uni life.... it’s great, expect 한자, cuz this one is killing me. But really expect it, it’s reallt great.

I don’t know what I can write more cuz there is a lot of to write but also it’s not that a lot. I will just end it here.
