reasons to not quit writing:

your writing is a skill, not an inborn talent (unless, yeah, maybe it is). not everyone can do what you do and love

everyone says they want to write a book. everyone has what it takes to write a book. not everyone does it anyway. you be the small percentage of success you read about

your writing will always seem brickshit horrible because you wrote and read it a million times

you love this writing thingy. quitting it will be like cutting off your fingers one by one.

someone out there will want to read what you wrote.

someone out there wants to know what is on your mind. 

someone out there appreciates your art. they will share it with their friends. they will share it with their loved ones. they will share it with their future self because maybe what you wrote saved them.

if you give up now, you know you will just come back to it again, whether it’s years from now, months, or next week. you love writing, that’s why you planted the seed of thought that you are going to write this book, and whether you come back to it or not, your unwritten stories will come back to you.

RPings Face Claim Masterlist Launch!

Hello everyone!

We are very happy to present our very own Face Claim Masterlist with over 280+ faces to choose from! All faces are sorted by a number of categories, including profession, ethnicity and age. 

As a disclaimer, we’d like to stress that we did our best to sort every individual face claim as accurately as possible, but we acknowledge that there might be a possibility that our sources were incorrect. If you happen to spot something that isn’t right, feel free to send us a message, and we’d be more than happy to make the necessary edits. You might notice that some of the information on certain face claims isn’t complete (e.g. missing birthdate, ethnicity, etc.) which probably means it was no where to be found.

      hello everyone ! I hope you’re all doing well today. as you may (or may not) know, I suffer from severe social anxiety and school is coming up which is terrifying to me. if you, too, have anxiety / any other disorder or just simply want a distraction than this is a great masterpost for you.

I have gathered a few little games and apps on my phone for when I’m anxious – these are for the iphone so I’m not 100% sure if they’ll be accessible for other kinds of phones. *feel free to add more games / helpful apps !

GAMES.

HAPPIFY– you can choose 1 free track ( coping better with stress, conquering negative thoughts, building self confidence + much more ) and focus on that - you can track your progress and see how your skills compare

RECOLOR – an awesome colouring app with a lot of different options ( some a free, some you need to pay for but overall has a good selection of free colouring ‘pages’ )

I LOVE HUE– basically just a little game to organize colours in the right order. NOTE: it may hurt your eyes if they are sensitive to a lot of colours at once

THISISSAND– play with sand!! make cool designs

ZEN SAND– a relaxing little game, guide sand into the vases

NEKO ATSUME– collect adorable kitties + a really cute art style

OTHER HELPFUL APPS.

ALWAYS THERE– ‘kids help phone’ in app-form. you can talk one-on-one with a counselor. NOTE: waiting can take a long time

7 CUPS-- much like ‘always there’ but has more to do. you can pick what your problem is at the time. you can work on that problem OR do some of the other stuff like watching cute videos or doing breathing / relaxing exercises

MOODS– basically just helps to track your moods ( choose between good, okay and bad + you can add a note if you want to )

HEADSPACE– a meditation app ( over the course of 10 days )

THEME PACK #001 by angelicxi

As I’m hitting the tenth theme mark, I am also approaching my two-year anniversary as a theme maker (can you believe it’s been so long and how far I’ve gotten? it’s a bit surreal, man. or, okay. a lot surreal), I decided to celebrate by putting together a theme pack…and good god, what a ride it has been. This set took inspiration from nature — specifically, from honeybees — and the result is my best work yet. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. ❤

       Honeycomb is where it all started. I’ve been meaning to make a theme pack since the beginning of this month, but I lacked the inspiration. Then, one night, I dreamed of bees…and eureka happened. It’s a versatile, fun theme, and it will work great with personal & aesthetic blogs.    FEATURES     [ + ] 500px posts     [ + ] left sidebar     [ + ] sidebar has five image slots (125 x 250px)     [ + ] title & subtitle slots     [ + ] short description (though you can make it longer)     [ + ] home & ask + four extra links     [ + ] tags on hover     [ + ] webkit scrollbar (tiny and cute to accomodate a longer sidebar desc.) for Chrome     [ + ] background options: plain color, gradient, texture/pattern, full wallpaper     [ & ] the bonus bee ornament at the bottom of the posts, which I personally find neat         For any questions, contact me.
