It is hard to assimilate that almost 2 years of HSSC are passing by and HSSC exams are drawing near. Hitherto I hadn’t realize that a teacher’s impact on a student’s life is similar to a silhouette of an object within light. The student itself is the embodiment of the teacher’s teaching. And all this realization after 12 years of modern education has de facto changed my perception about education itself. One of the pioneers that equated the concept behind this realization was non other than Sir Malik Ayyaz. The Chemistry he created between the class and himself while teaching us is exquisite in its own way and within two years the class has bonded to him like ions in an ionic bond. His departure from FFCB will doubtlessly have an integral effect on the institution as he is irreplaceable part of the perfect equation and no one can substitute him.  My this insignificant attempt is tribute to his sublime and monumental efforts.

Smallest coffins are the heaviest (16th Dec 2014 “My first Impressions”)

Something inside took over me as tears came from my eyes. It increased my pulse at a tremendous rate as if I was possessed by something. It was none other than my own sentiments of anguish. I felt unreal as my eyes and ears were drawn attentive towards the television broadcast. I found it impossible to assimilate the content of trauma and suffering being broadcasted over the television. The date was 16th of December and the transmission was regarding the massacre of 140 people at Peshawar including most of the children and teenagers. Indeed the smallest coffins are the heaviest.
